Year 2067 AC
Some time has passed since the establishing of Skarnfel, nearly half a decade of activity. The Shadowlands' legion of damned warriors and terrible demons have remained active and alive, showing that its recovering forces still held some bite to them. Their clutching claws would remain upon Meranthe, dug into the lands that which would remain claimed by the forces of the fel.
Through Helflame, it would remain. In time, it would return stronger than ever.
Even though they had only barely lost on a frontal siege against the neighboring state of duality, the activity would never cease, a wound that would proliferate with occult tinges. Even if their forces would meet a standstill on the fields of battle, they were propelled by change. And to force that change to the mortals that scorned them so dearly was a call to battle. To lead a life of ever-shifting constants was to lead an exalted existence. To scour the stagnant life of the sons of man was to be an usher for a new age, where all would thrive.
Many have embraced change within the ranks of Skarnfel.
And with the silence from Archon Grisha, it appears that the faithful Strategus, Na'Ria, was starting to take the lead in ruling.

- The keep of Skarnfel has taken up a bit more of the qualities of Unreality, hovering ominously yet slightly over the earth which it was built upon. No doubt, this was a design of the Mind Eater's make; an exertion of the not-demon's true power had started to seep into Reality, distorting the dimension in which it remained.
- The Obelisk of the End has seen vastly increased traffic since it has been emblazoned with the crest of Skarnfel, attracting scholars, fel warriors, and demons alike. Those that seek knowledge and strength from the Demon of Knowledge are encouraged to do so, even if they are not allied with the demonic horde. Many young kindred were cared for by the Owldrake, and many more were advised by it. Perhaps an odd display of Na'Ria's kindness, in taking in so many and teaching what it wished, but all roads lead to war, invariably, due to their heritage and nature- though something belied the surface.
- With the defense of the Crimson Keep, a formal declaration of an alliance has been struck between it and Skarnfel, between the Crimson Queen and the Strategus. The Obelisk of the End remains as a garrison for their shared troops, and a formal declaration of their shared territory. A claim of empty lands has been pushed forward; the demonic forces can be most often seen encircling the foot of the ruined Grimjhall, and traveling up into Vdalion's corpse.
- The Archon's silence is noted as exceedingly strange, but the Strategus has stepped into a more direct means of leading the horde of demons and fel warriors. Perhaps a bit more melancholic than usual, the Shadowlands are momentarily freed from the clutches of the Wyrm, though it appears the Owldrake has taken up a de jure position of leadership in her absence.
