I love you and your poem.
Here's another one!!
Here's another one!!
"I do"
We stand before a silver alter
Of promises and vows and song
Held apart by a crushing distance
Between mountains of fate
That will soon, apart, fall
Beneath a veil of white so tame
Pure in color and virtue and self-restraint
I catch a glimpse of the woman beneath
In past, a girl, dancing in fields
A future for me to keep
No words can describe the joy within
This churning and whirling and eruption
As I stand tall and stalwart and sure
My hands, lifting, strangely calm
Secure with you before me
Those very hands lift that very viel
Reveling a love and guidance and support
You felt fit to bestow upon
This mere man, once a boy
Yet now yours, as you are mine
To have and to hold
For better and for worse and in sickness and in health
Until death do us part
I will always love and honor you
For all the days of my life
And Beyond
And Beyond
I do
-A solemn vow, made true
Despite everything
Or perhaps
In Spite of everything
-Heimdail
-A solemn vow, made true
Despite everything
Or perhaps
In Spite of everything
-Heimdail
