No matter how hard times have been in the past, our people have persevered. The First Light is the most prestigious military organization in Esshar, unparalleled in both might and skill. This has not changed, even if our leadership has.
Those who wish to join our ranks are urged to seek out a knight, myself, or Mora. We will be holding practice drills regularly. Our enemies look for weakness, but they will see nothing but unity and strength.
Myllenoris and Theria were once territories under the Essharan Empire, yet now they fancy themselves independent states. Nothing but rebels, of course.
During the war with Barsburg, Myllenoris captured and executed several of our knights. They chose to remain idle while we fought the war. As such, I advise against entering their borders. The same goes for Theria.
Furthermore, Rhoynish banditry remains at a high, a nuisance that will be dealt with promptly.
Leaders of other settlements and Teraphim in general need to be monitored. Escorted directly to the castle for matters of foreign affairs, or removed if they intend to simply idle around.
I trust you all know your duties. Be it civilian, soldier, or priest- we all have a part to play. Dangerous times lurk ahead, tension clear on our borders. More, now than ever- we must come together and forge ahead.
Following the address, after conferring with both the Crown Prince and her counselors, the Queen Mother has decreed that the borders of Osrona will be closed to those from both Theria and Myllenoris. Citizens from either kingdom aren't allowed within Osrona unless they go through the appropriate channels. Escorted out, or to the Petrakis Castle for diplomatic situations. Repeat offenses or those attempting harm will be imprisoned.
Recruitment for the Order of the First Light is under way, with potential cadets being urged to seek out a knight or Radiant Mora herself. In addition to this- medics, alchemists, and artificers are also required, any who believe their services can be of use urged to meet with the Queen Mother.
Furthermore, the Crown has called for the banning of all Rhoynish people following a couple incidents in the outskirts of Messaris. Documented, known Rhoynish citizens are fine, but the rest should be arrested immediately.
