Character: Jokul Folhammar.
Which Event: A Volcanic Venture.
Responsiveness: Like the others said, pre-written descriptions for areas alongside themed music really set the tone for speed and atmosphere.
Balance: There was one bugged spell or it felt like that but Didos fixed it quickly. The battles were all fun & interesting, providing different challenges to conquer through varied spell use.
Storytelling: Going to have to parrot the others here, the storytelling was amazing. Felt like a D&D session and the characters we took only helped provide to that atmosphere. A lot of cool interactions, Didos adjusting on the fly and he expanded upon the original idea with great character development that we still talk about in Vdalion to this day.
Fairness: Very fair. We also rolled well.
Overall: My favorite part was the special condition for the final boss battle. Engineer was a literal mastermind, guessing it on his last go and hammering it out in time to save us from being slain. Didos' idea for incorporating that was great. It added intensity and provided a way for the (very strong) dragon to be beaten without simple verb combat. Won't elaborate more but definitely a cool feature that you'd be lucky to have included in future events.
Promised Didos I'd do one, so apologies for the lateness.
