When we had weapon respriting, you had people making their weapons look a lot weaker (lower tier weapons) or respriting their iron swords into Glofnir, The Slayer of Cuck n' Fucks that they spent $300 on a sprite for over and over again

To be fair, there were certain lower tier weapon sprites that can suit the appearance a person wants better. I recall having a miscommunication when I wanted the appearance of an adept staff on a master staff because it can be reasonably reflavored to a spear appearance wise, only for the artifcier to pick the master staff look with the red crystal tip
