State of Esshar

"When I returned to Esshar, my path took me to the Dreadwoods. I was unimpressed with what awaited me there. A weakened and broken Coven, filled with outcasts, monsters, and pirates. Yet, in my benevolence I have chosen to uplift them. Upon my heels they ascend to greatness. No longer a mere coven, no longer a collection of outcasts hiding in the woods.

I establish Nanzonia.
To those of the shadows I gift identity.
I grant purpose.

• The Tyrant declares his sole dominion over the forces of shadow. 
  

• With the founding of the Iron Legion, for the first time in history the monstrous denizens of the Southlands have an organized military to exert their will over their homeland. 
  

• The Eclipse Coven has been incorporated as a supporting structure within the nascent nation. Acting as the foundation of research and culture.
  

• The resurgent Mire finds itself being incorporated into the Iron Legions and active efforts to retrieve the Mire's relics and resources.
  

• The Tyrant stresses to his forces that they should spend their coin, not blood at the Waystone, Family Cafe, and other such mercantile locales.
  

• After the events within the Black Spire, the woodlands find themselves home to a newly established Spider Clan of Demons. Though young, Esshar already feels the sting of their venom.
  

• A build up of material has been seen entering the Dreadwoods, as if construction has begun. Efforts to turn the small village within into something more.
  

• The Tyrant has invited those who find themselves without purpose into the Woodland realm. With a special invite to those Celestial Magi who seek an alternative to the Celestialist church for answers upon the stars.
