Despite the Wyld Hunt having been interrupted, the Rite of Ascent was held for Kassarus Falkenrath shortly thereafter. Reports indicate that Trife, a knight of Osrona, as well as Alkhea, a spy implicated in espionage against Achyon and Asphodel, were both executed. After which Prince Kassarus was successfully converted into a vampire, imbued with Cain's blessing.

The Queen continues to search across Esshar for those worthy of immortality and power beyond imagination.
