A massacre in the dunes!
Reports of a skirmish amidst the desert dunes between Asura Nomont, a nonmagus sympathizer, and the Magus Defense Force against an Ogre spread across the land. It is claimed that they were flanked by eyewitnesses but otherwise no survivors in the assault. One MDF soldier gave their life to attempt to save Asura Nomont, resulting in a blinding mana-based explosion. No MDF soldiers survived the onslaught. The broken form of the nonmagus merchant was spotted being carted off by a nonmagus sympathizer to safety after reportedly taking a full strike from an enraged ogre. Remains of the battle show half-buried corpses and crimson stains, soon to be swallowed by the dunes of the unforgiving desert-scape.
