All throughout the city men and women bearing the crest of House Pelleaux have been seen handing out transcripts of a speech given by the mayoral candidate Lord Claude vey Pelleaux himself. With each of the papers is also passed out a flyer for what's to come, upon the flyer is a stylistic Osronian Wild Boar, wearing a blue tabard. Named the Sudbury Boars! Elementa grand tournamnet to determine the team of the district! Date to be announced!

In that time my life has been threatened not once, but twice by Syndicate reprisal. The first time the stalwart Knight Khaine Vanador rose to the occasion in my defense. The second time my own chef from Sudsbury, Ser Ravan Karnstein took the blade of an assassin, fighting them off despite the injury. Quickly rising to Knight in the Order after that event.
I'm telling you this to make one thing clear, I do not fear those who would threaten my efforts to invigorate this district.
When I began my campaign I as mocked as an outsider with a passing interest in the district. A noble with to much free time on his hands and who didn't care. I have shown despite the deadlock of the election process, despite the attempts on my safety which still continue as Anderson cos D'Arnette attempted on my life at my latest Gala. A gala hosted to garner support for not only my revitalization plans for Sudsbury but the young Asphira's as well. A local who approached me as my election began and has been instrumental in giving me a different perspective on the area.
I've persevered and now stand as one of two choices for the Mayoral position.
I've listened to the opinions of others, magi of status. That does not mean I do not hear the rumors and the concerns of the common citizenry of Sudsbury. Rest assured I have heard you all and I have a plan for the district. I've spoken before on my wish to improve the infrastructure and healthcare in the region. To that ends I will propse an expansion of the district to accommodate the population. It shall expand in the direction of Messaris where there is currently open lands and space, this will help create roads through the woodlands and connect the district more fully to the Messaris markets.
The keystone of this expansion will be the construction of an Elementa Stadium, of which you should have been handed my suggestion for the District of Sudsbury's team. I hope to gather support once the stadium is built to found teams for each district. This shall provide a place of discourse and communal enjoyment for the city. Within Sudsbury, helping to expose the disenfranchised with others who can present them more opportunities beyond the district. The revenue from the stadium shall be used to enrich the district itself.
This will also bring in the attention of wealthy merchants, helping to connect the district with the financial flow of the city. The stadium will have an expansive area outside it for discourse. As well as, at first, a city sponsored temp agency to connect those seeking work with merchants who are in need of labor. Not to mention the sheer amount of jobs this expansion will create in the first place.
There is also a clear need for a Hospital but I have noticed the cropping up of several clinics. This lead me to thinking of the poor state of the Church. Brought to me by several priests who have found the church in a state of decay thanks to poor leadership. To that end I have a plan to expand the roadways to the church and expand the grand cathedral itself so that it may serve as both a place of worship and a place of healing. For they are both one and the same, healing the soul and the body. That will take time so until then I will be redirecting funding to supporting the free clinics that have sprouted in the district.
My battle with the Syndicate that began nearly five years ago when they raided my first gala. Attempting to turn the nobility against the residents of this district will continue. Thanks to my close friendship with Commander Task I have been assured that an increased presence of the Constabulary will be brought into the district. This as well as laws I shall push for the outlaw of dangerous chemicals and weapons of which the Syndicate have used to terrorize our citizenry for years.
To recap expansion of the district to open more housing, building of an Elementa Stadium, expansion of the Church into a Hospital for the district, introduction of more jobs in the district, and finally taking the fight forcefully to the Syndicate who still plague Sudsbury.
In a farewell, I am Lord Captain Claude vey Pelleaux and I will not cease to improve this city and solve what ails it. That is an Oath sworn before the stars. May the light guide your steps and I hope you will honor me with the right to serve you all as your mayor.
