They broke up the RP environment and made the game worse and unequivocally shittier in every way, the game was never in my opinion monotonous and their was always something to do just like their is in the current game. The accumulation of mass amounts of currency and of the buying of perms incentivized one to join these things and interrupt perfectly good scenes for out of character reasons and led to the gross over-inflation of currency and things being sold for ridiculous sums of money as everything was based around the idea of people going to these places to gain fat stacks. At the time, I was against them and greatly annoyed when people flew off out of scenes to join them.
I am glad that the raids are gone and will relentlessly fight any attempt to reintroduce them frankly such is my disdain for them.
