Hey, your resident old man Jack Kingpin here. Remember once upon a time when everyone ran to get on this dinky little boat to go on an island to fight waves upon waves of beast, and then at the end fighting a big boss? Pepperidge Farms Remembers.
No but serious, I feel that it was a great stress reliever to just have these world events that were partly OOC with the chance of getting a cool reward benefit, coins rewards, ect. Now hear me out!
I understand that back in E1 it worked for different reasons, but I actually honestly really enjoyed the whimsical nature of it. Enemies from all factions would be there just chilling and OOCly mingling and really bringing down the OOC tension between people and bring back that fun OOC social contact once more.
And the grand tournaments were just FUN. Why did those stop again? We need that back.
