farewell to you, my light






the soaring wyrm found his final perch in the clouds

leaving behind only a single reminder of his presence

a hatchling, pure and blissfully unaware






if only you could meet her

she's just like you

at times i can not even bear the sight







of her magenta eyes

and brilliant white hair







i know what i am about to do

is exactly what you would 

if our place in fate's plan were reversed









but would you forgive me,

if i fail,

and leave her behind?
