The infamous Dryad, Carnivore, seeks soon to claim a new home in the lands of Esshar, a future fortress for her species to grow within. But to do so? She must assure that she has the strength to defend it. To this end, she turns towards a rumor of a mythical flower, one unlike any other in the world.

Men have fought and died for the powerful properties of the flower. Even a single petal of a Black Lotus holds enough magic in it that an alchemist would cough up a fortune to obtain one. The plant grows not off nutrition in the soil, but off mana and magic itself. Carnivore believes this peculiar flora could lead her towards untapped potential... If she can acquire such a rare prize.
