At the entrance to the Blue Unicorn Clinic there's a written notice:

"WANTED - Internship. An able, ambitious student that isn't addled by or associated with vagrants. Must arrive at the break of dawn six days of the week, save for the Lord's day. Six hour days." 

"It has come to my attention that there is a lack of medical officials within our City, and perhaps by extension Esshar itself, and as much as I enjoy callousing my hands to tend to the wounds of the reckless, there is knowledge to be shared. As an intern of the Blue Unicorn Company, you'll have access to some of the greatest literature available on the human body, covering physiology, first aid treatment, common surgical practices, and magical applications when dealing with the injured."

"In addition to the resources on hand, you'll also directly assist myself and Kamei when we're handling patients, gaining first hand experience on the spot. Should you be accepted into this prestigious position, your basic needs will be taken care of (food and a bed) at our clinic, if necessary."
