The trees remain ivory in shade and twinkling with ice throughout the shifting of seasons.
The trees barring the way to the Vale coil and thicken, earning the once well known path a terribly difficult obstacle.
On the eve of war, the High Lord steps forward with an impassioned speech and announcement.

"Let it be said that Myllenoris did not compromise.

Let history remember that when this new 'Covenant' rose in number, the Valeborne stood fast against them.

Let them know that when Theria welcomed Hel in, we set out to extinguish those dark flames.

My sins are remembered, for not a night goes by that I do not hear those voices of the past.

But I find some solace, some selfish peace in knowing that this fight, this war, is the one I was born to take part in.

To my kingdom, to my family, to my people,

know that we march forth courageously, for even in death, we will be accepted into the very same afterlife we have mingled with a thousand times before.

We will strike the stars with out valiant souls when our spirits have lingered and walked a dozen more lifetimes beside Wardens and Overseers who would call our Mother their kin.

Let our tale be written in blood and ascend to myth,

that the spirits' chosen did not falter in their faith.

Let it be said that we rode to death and ruin,

And we did so without fear."

The Valeborne is mobilized and sent out to strike without a moment's hestiation.

In the midst of the shifting, the Mistseer Ro is noted as missing at the head of the Valeborne military, and in his place, the young Renly has ascended to the rank of Mistseer.
The druidess Leni has been noted bearing her own authoritative power within Myllenoris itself, as she too was granted a title of Mistseer in these dire times.

With their ascension, the High Lord has made it clear that the rank of Mistseer no longer belongs to Teraphim alone, but is granted to those who have attuned to the Vale, no matter their race.
