Six years ago, my people bartered with your people to lay down your arms and denounce witchcraft that today has threatened to take your entire world from you.

Alexander Petrakis spoke for you and denied the wish.

What followed was a bloody war that took the lives of my kin. Of your kin.

Families, lineages, dynasties. All driven into nothingness under the power of my people and what stands now is no divine right of kings--but a ruler of your choosing.

I stand here as a murderer of your people. As a solider of an occupying force.

As your savior.

I come fresh from destroying the Meteor summoned by your late queen Nebula Petrakis. I stand here the sole candidate that can say they are above mortal men in mental acuity.

All who will stand here and argue that they are right to lead have the same flaw:

They are not immune to the crafty nature of witches.

Deep within my mind is an auger set, tunneling thoughts and deflecting outside influences from my mind. I can be no Alexander Petrakis, his mind torn from hexes. I can be no Walter Dorco, a hex upon him driving his blade at friends instead of foe. I stand here a grander man then them.

My people have done grave deeds within Osrona, but we have purged witches where they go. Your current lives are to be thanked for our efforts in slaying Nebula Petrakis during her wicked ritual.
