A personalityless avatar that is a vehicle for verbing rather than telling a story is likely going to follow the same exact format. The only difference is there will be less effort put into it

this is the issue,  though.  this is, actually,  the entire issue. you dont deserve a hidden if you arent putting any effort towards your character.

I've received hiddens on characters I put effort into.
And characters I put significantly less effort into.

We're going to have to agree to disagree there. As long as the world is affected as a whole, or as long as that person has done SOMETHING and continues to do things, effort or not, then I think that's plenty reason to obtain a hidden.

And yes, I believe you can affect the world without actually putting depth, thought, or any kind of effort into your character, just by being an over-aggressive battlecuck.
