The stirs of restlessness that coaxed the Dwarves of Clan Crownforge to strike the earth in their mountain fortress of Stonehaven once more finds purchase, as the influx of settlers from Ganlodur and the distant hills finds idle hands without purpose. A deathly sin in Dwarvish culture, and one that cannot be tolerated for long without descents into madness, or further madness in the case of older graybeards.
The ruins of the giants and their ancient war; the once-sovereigns of the far north, would be excavated with the care of the finest miners and masons of the Stonefolk; carefully examined for the dramatically large civilization for insights of a lost culture and its history; forebears to the very claim the Crownforge Clan held in the north.
As holy lands of Ymir's chosen, and the sight of the disturbed dead of bygone wars, efforts would be made to offer due rest to any remaining dead with care; their deeds and death scribed in slabs of stone that they might pass on with the knowledge they are not forgotten; their history and doom upheld faithfully. The most daring of miners are sent into the depths of sunken stone and lava to dredge out lost articles of ages long past.
Stonehaven would seek to claim and restore Mt. Grimhjall. (30K Influence)
