Key/Character: Harolin Nyarabia
Which Event: The Slayer King of Koganoth
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): Very good, detailed posts. The event went on a bit long but it was our fault and not his.
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): All of the battles felt like genuine boss fights, never did it feel (except for one time I don’t blame him because of how good our healer was) that we were just being KOed for the sake of it with nothing we could do.
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?):Not only was the story good, it was transformational for the settlement and PCs involved. Big points for letting us be creative with the direction that the whole event took through our decisions as well!
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?)
All I will say is that the rewards were about adequate. It verged a little bit on too low for the risk considering the extent of injuries taken, but I think nobody was disappointed. I definitely wasn’t!
Overall:
Good! Excellent for a newer DM, in fact. The way you play your bosses actually made me feel like my event characters fight like shit.
