Event: The Saint of Light
Responsiveness (Were their narrations posted within a reasonable time-frame and were they quick to respond?): Timing was on point and the few times they had to step away wasn't long at all. Every narration included those present and you can tell they actually focused on what everyone did. 10/10
Balance (How entertaining were the battles, and any obstacles/traps?): The fights were manageable enough to feel accomplished, but three out of four people were downed at least one round. It felt appropriate for the listed event risk! The red herrings in the puzzles occasionally threw us for a loop. 10/10
Storytelling (Did it feel like an adventure, did the content of the narrations meet your expectations?): It was an expected beginning and end, though the middle content went in unanticipated ways. As mentioned above, they made sure to include everyone so each party member shined in every narration. 11/10
Fairness (Were the punishments justified and earned, was the risk to reward ratio good?): With how many times Alaric kept charging into danger without thinking, the punishments and risks were very much earned. But the rewards were also great in comparison. 10/10
Event Highlight: The final boss battle and Pepper's heroic save [and the attempt to perm my character...]
Overall: 10/10
Any other comments: The sheer amount of work and commitment towards the scenery/ puzzles were next level. This was my first event and Daniel set the bar extremely high. I'll latch onto them for dear life to do other events in the future.
