Dor'alanor, all! That's right, I, a thirteen year old girl (At the time of writing) am writing for the QUILL AND CHRONICLE! How? Well, let's just say I have my ways... So, let's get straight into this introductory article, shall we?MEET THE NEW WRITER:
Hollybelle Ressie: An introduction

You may be asking, what can a thirteen year old girl offer that a bunch of well qualified adults could've offered easily in their own runs? Well, to that, my dear viewer, I answer simply. I can offer facts. I can offer information, based on something many people in this day and age have forgotten; TALKING. I, Hollybelle Ressie, swear unto you, my dear readers, to offer you facts, facts and nothing but facts. As much as I can logically impose unto you. And so, my dear reader, I bring you to my first ever article in the Quill and Chronicle.
Acantho vs The Seneschal - An Ancient Grudge?!
The Seneschal, aide to the Lumin King and known Liasion unto the Republic has, recently, challenged one Acantho, former director of the Proto Institute of the late Final Frontier, to an interview. This honor duel would supposedly result in the decapitation of Acantho - something of which the Seneschal would allegedly claim Acantho would be capable of surviving. During an interview with the Seneschal, they fairly firmly described a large number of reasons for such, including but not limited to:
- Holding one Arlyss Shadecrest under arrest for the purpose of extracting the Seneschal [Whom was supposedly within them at the time] and handing them off to Aegis, whom were noticeably hostile unto them at the time.
- Rigging his institute's works, by himself or others who allowed him to, to fall under his control and be unremovable in the process.
- Would aid and abet a war against one Garret Richter.
- Hid a plot against one Azalea Aubreen, precursor to Koretheia herself.
- Abandoning his people to die over the accusations held against him, dismissing them as mere propaganda despite claims otherwise.
Allegedly, the Seneschal has given him a year to prepare himself, as per his request. What could this mean for the Republic? Will there be harsh backlash as a result of these claims, or, will everything be well and good?
An Interview with Ogre Time?!
That's right, ladies and gents! I, your writer, and first time journalist, Hollybelle Ressie, had a moment to interview two members of the infamous Ogre Time mercenary group. Whilst this interview was scheduled just before their recent involvement in both the Demon Lord Varrach and the acquisition of a certain island, I think you will find their reasoning for what they do quite interesting. Do note that we here at the Quill and Chronicle advise you, the reader, to look at what they say, and what they do, with a critical eye, and to make your own assessment of the people I interviewed.
We must all hold everyone accountable, after all.
Our interviewees were, of course, one Lyam Morgrave, an active presence within Ogre Time, and one Chiffon - someone whom claimed quite an active sense of loyalty within Ogre Time as it was. Supposedly, Lyam Morgrave came under the employ of Ogre Time through pure happenstance, having worked with the head of Ogre Time, Ailith, through pure coincidence alone. Curiosity lead them together, and they began to gain a subtle sense of comradery. This, of course, became a full-time employment over a long period of time. Meanwhile, his comrade, Chiffon, came under it's employ through Lyam Morgrave's values - which may surprise some of our readers back home!
What are these values, you ask? Well, that's what we asked!
Lyam Morgrave is a man that, allegedly, believes in man. He believes that man's desire to work should be awarded with opportunity - no matter what that opportunity is. A man that believes in mortalkind having control over their own worth, their own value. This supposedly has given rise to Monolith. He believes in the Monolith, and those within, wanting their success above all else.
Does this explain his actions as of late, or do you think that this excuses nothing? You, the reader, are the one that should decide.
