Seven days for Caethir's researchers and soldiers to withdraw from Glimmer Lake. Seven nights for Caethir's leadership to decide, diplomacy or battle.
On the eighth day, mages of Aetius will gather north of the rainbow lake, armored, and waiting for the decision on horseback.
The strategy is simple, minimize unneeded casualties, and should Caethir contest, battle them magi against magi, away from the precious remnants of Mestra.
