Court of Ilumitar

The Court came to be roughly a decade ago, secretively, in that it has been removed from the world's affairs. Its activities consist of the recruitment of talented magi and direct tutelage by the  founder, Ilumitar, a mysterious, long-lived sorcerer that has no past he wishes to speak of and might be considered a living grimoire of the times.

Daily life for a member consisted of residing within the Tower of Aetius, where the schedule quickly passed by the studying of philosophy, cartography, activities that their passions might invoke. It was a school for the gifted, and the number of pupils were of the single digits. Ilumitar's own passions were known to be the True Magic (Divine), the Arcane, Sorcery, and Invocation,

At the age of sixteen, each protégé would then go to choose a defined path: The Knight, the Sorcerer, or the Assassin, but claim it further through an innovative magic style that is unique to them. Their studies would then be further aided by Ilumitar's trusted confidant and servant, the Djinn Buer, bound within an astrolabe but often given free reign to go about his work, as the one who held dominion over the greater spirit's ambitions reflected the wishgranter's own.

The time draws near as preparations find fruition.

The Court's ideals are thus:

I. The progression of humanity in the eternal mission to bring about a golden age utopia.

II. The search for a worthy King. Offering aid to those who will bring about change and add wealth to the histories of Meranthe.
III. The complete eradication of malignant forces that serve as a distraction in the great work, mastery of the True Magic. Advancement of society is necessary.
IV. Fulfilling one's ambitions regardless of the hard choices and sacrifices that might be made.

The Court is pledged to the Princedom of Caethir. The guild serves prince Franz Erbe as official citizens.
