A Cleansing

Ever since the events of Extinction, the land where Aegis stood has accumulated horrible energies from the downfall of Indras and the destructive powers of the Imperfect of Ash. The magi that get close have said to have seen a number of horrors that human eyes shouldn't see. In the center where the nation stood was a rift that was only getting bigger, rather than smaller. And the creatures that resided in the area steadily turned into beasts of shadows, capable of utilizing the occult.

Recently, a young priest of Ualdir has been gathering people and spoken to others of the idea of the great cleanse of the place for reasons unknown. From Arcadia, to Xuefeng, to even some chosen people in the republic, the word has been spread. The day of the cleansing is approaching, and the radiating powers within were growing as well.

Who knows what will happen in the weeks and months to follow, but one thing was clear:
