Sailor's Talk and News!
Sailor's Talk and News!
Ten years have passed since Stede Emeraldi, the man recognized at the time as the reigning Sovereign of Fortune, had taken over. Following this, actions were taken to once again further the production of Fortune, and they've began to enter a more prosperous state of Commerce, as their goal has always been. Age began creeping, however, and decisions were made to pass the crown from himself unto Ala Emeraldi. Some sailors were nervous about this change which seemed to be silent in its transition of power, but this was far from the only shift in interest experienced inside the nation.
Enarr's presence within the Kingdom of Fortune is not something that can be denied. But with the presence of Kindle Sandsker as well as good connections to Arcadia flourishing, the religion of Verdion has been noted as an upcoming belief within the state, with Kindle being the religious leader of their group, the Rootkeepers. However, this is not to overtake the presence of Enarr; A festival is said to be held relatively soon by one of their resident Enarr-priests, Atlas Equisol.
As such, Kindle has decided to drop her presence as Admiral of the Fortune's Navy while Anya Seacrest, noted for her long-time devotion to the Fortune kingdom, has been made the new Admiral of the Navy. Sailor's word travels fast across land, as this is not all...
Word comes from across seas that the new Sovereign has interests in settling the now-empty islands around them in order to bring them together and expand Fortune's presence upon the seas once more, as they had sought to do before. This includes, but is not limited to, what was once the Traverse - the isle of Mina Solis. Such eagerness to expand her lands comes from the hopes to once more bring Fortune back together.
Sailwinds has become a well-known name across Fortune and other friendly settlements. Sailwinds has also become notable within Fortune's research division under Stede Emeraldi, who still holds on to his title as the Lead Researcher.
Some points of interest,
- The Kingdom of Fortune are hoping to once more expand its military ranks, open to all those who approach who aren't of the Fel alignment. If you wish to join, talk to Anya Seacrest about signing up for Fortune's navy today! Due to a shortage in their Navy rankings, Fortune is highly supportive of those willing to fight for them.
- Advancement in technological and magical growth. Actively seeking those interested in multiple arts of crafting and other types of noncombative abilities, Fortune offers lessons and experience from those learned in Runemancy, Golemancy, and even Wayfinding to advance and help learn those who wish to have a better understanding of such arts. They're also urged to join and help support Fortune's growth in return, though it's not always expected they do so.
- The growing worshippers of Verdion and long-present Enarr are the two most prominent religions amongst those who travel across Fortune's Ports for now. All religions are, however, welcome, so long as they are once again not of the Fel alignment or troublesome for the people of the Kingdom.
- Fortune is looking for a medic to take care of their soldiers and citizens. Anyone with interest in taking such a position should notify Anya Seacrest or Ala Emeraldi.
- A new sentionaut has been seen traversing lands as of late, making many connections and friends along the way. This marks the development of a newer, more advanced kind of sentionaut which appears almost entirely human.
