Laying within her Grandmother's bed Serenity - after having come to the land to deliver items belonging to her father, to her mother and crying her heart out upon her Grandmother's shoulders,
the twin sister of the Mephans endured a dream.
It was vivid. She had usually experienced a nightmare—at least since that day—but tonight was different.
She recalled memories of her childhood, the days spent with her brother, father, and mother.
She learned how to be a warrior.
She learned how to think.
She learned how to love and care for her family...
But they had never taught her how to quit.
The scene changes to that faithful day, her argument with her father over not feeling loved.
The declaration that the protection of the gate was an emotional gesture made by her father.
But as soon as that memory began, it ended.
They stood before the demonic Sage of Rot, and within seconds they were all defeated. Vena, her father, and Uncle.
The three of them were fated to die - but death's embrace ultimately only came for one of the three.
Edward Keene sacrificed himself to ensure her life - and she would remain.
But for some reason, she did not feel as if this was a nightmare. The dream fades to black for some time.
Then, a feeling - something within Mavethkar was calling out to her.
A vision of the rubble, whatever it had been, whatever the feeling ultimately was,
Something was telling her to return.
She awoke, resolved to return to her home and find what was calling her. Something had to be there. Or maybe it was just another dream.

Quote:"I am the inheritor of a dream.
I will carry the stain, the shame of my father, and Edward Keene's deaths. And I will make this right.I am a failure, but I will not fail this time - I will carry on the dream.I don't care what it takes.I don't care if I have to do it alone.I refuse to give up on your dream. It is our dream now. All of us.And if am the only one to keep fighting for it?It is now my dream, and mine alone to live for."Mavethkar will rise again.
It will be a symbol of our people, our heritage, our ideals and;
an eternal memento of your dream.
I will not fail you .. this time.
