A battle has occured north of Faiovein Cave, where the boars often pass by in herds.

A skirmish under the eve of midnight, scant of witnesses that can tell how the battle has unfolded.
What the people can witness, however? Is the aftermath.
The earth upturned, twisted in unatural ways. Flora that wasn't there the night before, from vines to trees, cut down in the clash.
Red blood spilled, staining a shaken up earth that was sliced through as if a giant knife moved across the ground.
While information is scarce for now? To those with an ear kept close to the chattering townsfolk, can hear of sightings of the swordsman dressed in black further west.
Wounded, but alive.
