In the night, upon the base of the Observatory in the desert, among the cooled dunes and the cold breeze, nine magi led by Oliphr met for one purpose.
To raise a barrier from the forgotten runes laid buried in decades of sand.

Oliphr Ishiko, Jango D. Bogard, Xiao Amamiya, Rued Silvanas, Dunsman S. Viridi, Daliah of Serenity, Sayenia M. Ishiko, Guy of Midpoint, Cassia M. Silvanas and Daire Silvanas stood before the Observatory, surrounding the Element Core, bearing ten materials to manipulate the Eight pillar magics and the Two magics of emotion- of unity and division.

The Element Core was raised in a sphere of runic text, instructions laid to mark the boundaries of Nightview to protect, and the formulation of the magics to weave together and provide the walls between the markers.

Occult

the base of the barrier, closest to the soil to whence all decay return-
The grounding for the mana to be dispersed into the ground where the Barrier runes reside.

Explosion, Fire, Magma, Plasma

lay just above the occult magic-
The dissipation of Occult like the extreme expansion of Explosion; tethered to the calmer explosion of Fire; concentrated into Magma; and refined into mana of pure heat, Plasma.

Lightning, Sound, Tempest, Air

laying above the fire magic-
The refined concentration of plasma like the concentrated and precisely directed mana of Lightning; dispersed as a wide-range shockwave of Sound; a shockwave as violent as a Tempest; and generated as the gales of Air.

Mist, Water, Wellspring, Ice

residing above the air magic-
The gales carrying mana along the breeze like Mist upon the valley; precipitating into whole Water once more; cleansing rain collecting in a Wellspring; fortified and refined as Ice.

Metal, Crystal, Sand, Earth

resting atop the water magic-
The fortification and structure of Ice like that of Metal; structured like Crystals; which fall apart to Sand; to return to the all-encompassing Earth.

Armed, Unarmed, Enhancement

coaxing the in between of the magics of Earth and Biology-
The intricate cycle of the Earth like the intricate and deliberate movements of an Armed combatant; further honing their strengths to just their Unarmed hands; finally, honing their strength into peak Physical Enhancement of their whole form.

Bone, Blood, Nature, Poison

woven to the end of the physical magics-
The truest strength of the body lying in its Bones; which produce the body's structure and creates its Blood; just a variant of the life-giving liquid of Nature; which can grow or decay and become a Poison.

Illusion, Time, Shadow, Light, Gravity

strung to the biologic magics-
The poisons which grant death, illness and induce Illusions; much like the easily fluctuating illusion of Time; a concept which marks the history of existence from, and eventually returning to, the Shadows; which can only exist, conceptually, with the existence of Light; which bears the weight of all motes of light inducing the existence of weight and Gravity.

Cosmic, Absorption, Energy, Spirit

interconnected with the same concepts of the metaphysical magics-
The gravitational field of the suns- or stars- in the Cosmic plane; stars that take light to Absorb; to keep it alive, the light stores other light as Energy; energy which can be found in all beings that may bask in the light, beings with souls and Spirits.

Holy

the pinnacle of the barrier, raising upward to the gods above to link the Ethereal magic skyward-
The connection of the Spirits to the Spirit Realms where the Deities reside- in Vanaheim.

With the instructions created, the ten magi put forth the base of their magics:

Daliah with her Physical

Sayenia with her Biological

Guy with his Metaphysical

Cassia with her Ethereal

Daire with his Holy

The mana, imprinted to the magic materials and their internal instructions detailing all 34 magics within, infused with its instructions and shot off into the sky as ten motes of light. Crashing down to the markers as ten pillars of pure mana, from whence all those magics were forged from, piercing the sand and reaching beyond a measure of sand to reach to the Barrier Runes casted by Umbra over forty years prior in the land of Nightview.

As the pillars connected with the Barrier Runes, the walls of the barrier began to from. A wall of rainbows enveloping Nightview, as all colors, including the dark and the light, banded together to form the barrier that rose to the night sky and reached below the depths of the planet. Much like Gala's Veil, the primary faith of Nightview, it would become invisible to the world- unseen, but still very much existent. Planted firmly around Nightview, enacted by the power of the magi and the unshattered resolve of the Element Core's creator, the purpose of the shield had begun to take shape, as was its born intention-
