Following the Departure of the Three Sisters, those that commit to their daily prayer rites are overcome with an unusual sensation of grief. It burdens the senses with the weight of mourning; they begin to hear the whispers of phantoms and ghosts, subtly, things that shouldn't be there, the gravitas of life and death heavier than usual. The spiritual level of Meranthe has risen uncontrollably and the Tower of Aetius, the great spire and its countless portals, continues to send startling vibrations throughout the world, instability. A connection heightened.

The feeling that something is happening in the cosmos beyond, occurrences within the underworld and the fantastical Ten Realms; it reaches not just Meranthe, but the entirety of Eternia.  Magi are mobilized; from Valmasia to Esshar, to Gehenna and Jianghu. To the fortress of Undeath flying overhead to the Cloud Citadel, and the Lighthouse of Agartha and Nyphadora's Worldscape.    The world is aware, and making its move.

The Demon King's emissary has sent a missive to the Crescent Fortress and its Moonfallen:   'Your Supreme will know what to do.   Follow him.   Fail us  and suffer a slow death for it.'
