Character: Eivor Ualdirsson
Event: Descent of the Black Dragon
Pacing: It was perfect. The narrates were really quick, all while being heavily detailed and catering to the decisions made by the characters. Downtime was given when it was needed, room for plenty of interaction.
Balance: The fights were decent, last one specially kept us on our toes, but the real challenges were the trials and traps. Creative approaches were rewarded, while not thinking things through could pretty much ruin you. The injuries on rolls were perfect for the risk as well. I liked it.
Storytelling: Among the best I've ever experienced, if not probably the best. This event was very meaningful for Eivor as a character, and it was everything I could ask for and more. Really interactive progress rather than moving from one fight to the other, immersive with the pacing, prompting big character developments, and had huge lore expansions. As well as good future hooks to push for.
Fairness: Reward-wise? I hadn't thought much about them going into this; incentive was mostly to explore more of the lore, and to push certain plot-lines, but I can definitely say that they had a lot of thought put into them; with narratives that were important to the participants, and significance fitting the risks. I loved mine specially, meant a lot to the character and his overarching story.
Overall: One of the best events I've had. Thank you.
