State of Meranthe

Many things have been happening in the kingdom of Dawnstone across some years, from expansions, alliances formed and participation in war. Getting to the point that more things for the future are planned! And now, the time has come to know a few of them.
 

 
♚ Through agreements established with Dal'thala, formerly an allied force, Camp Invictus had become a vassal territory of Dawnstone. Being renamed to Outpost New Dusk. Yet, the presence of such a location is minimal.
  
♚ Through a successful Ball, funds were raised and a new project is underway! A new construction will soon be built.
  

♚ After saving the life of the King of Dawnstone, in addition to many other efforts, Zeref becomes commander of Dawnstone. May he live longer than the others.
 
♚ With recent events, which turned the world enemies of the monarch, new alliances are formed! Now, Dawnstone opens the gates to the beings of Skarnfel and Sheol.
  

♚ Due to this and also wars, recently ownership over the Phoenix, Tristinia, was acquired. The destiny of such is uncertain, as apparently the King has plans for her. However from this point and onward, Hausos and Renee Djulkorren are under the protection of the monarch and should not be hunted, or the fury of the draconic monarch shall befall infrators of this order. 
  

♚ Preparations continue to defend the kingdom, however rumors suggest that after this the king is already planning something bolder and grander. Probably, to take more land for his kingdom.
  

♚ Traitors of Dawnstone are to be hunted down and offers of up to one hundred thousand coins and more are offered to those who bring people such as Arnet, Raithe, Niemh, among others, alive, to the city of dragons.

The traditional celebrations of the Spring Equinox across Delphina are overcast with a sober gloom. The Queen of Spring, Melanthia Alinteau, remains absent, and after many months' wait it becomes less and less sensible to expect that to ever change. The nation begins to rally more and more behind its proclaimed Lord-Regent, the most stable facet of an often unstable history since the turn of the century, Camino de Caewynn. The coronation blossom of the absent Queen is found from her empty estate, indeed wilted, but not entirely dead dessicated. Instead, in a particularly exceptional display of the azilaena's cycling of water, its drooping blue flower appears to weep.

Quote:"That I had known the Queen well, I would know that she would not derelict her duties so. To see that she has not returned, it is better however mournful, to believe she has ceased to be, than ceased to be herself. That this flower weeps that it has lost her, not that it has been abandoned. I bid thee mourn with it."

The Lord-Regent states in public address, bidding a period of mourning before the future of Delphina would be formally announced. Perhaps, if such words were spoken in full sincerity, one would guess this outcome assumed. The theater of summoning the lost Queen to the public, a distant specter of hope allowed to fade.

ʚїɞ: Knowing that the pretense of regency is to wait a return of faculty to a monarch who may yet find it, knowing that waiting for the return of the missing Queen Melanthia Alinteau would be an exercise which could only grow more disconnected from reality, and knowing that Nemea's crown should only answer the call of a Faeborne monarch, a decision is made. In faith that by every metric which should matter in the eyes of Kin and Goddess both, the man born Human is as Faeborne: Lord-Regent Camino de Caewynn assumes the throne of Delphina. Asked his customary title, he professes his own to be that of Lumin King, evoking the most sacred of Nemea's flowers. An monarch greater in years Delphina has not known since the reign of Alfewynn.

ʚїɞ: Violence and war continues to loom over the common mind, as it does for the citizens of any nation with a stake in the greater future of Meranthe. With the destruction of Vera Cruz, Delphina continues to offer its support against the siege of Aphros from the Shadowlands. With the heel-turn of Ludmaz Dawnseeker, a new front close to home is opened with but two options to pursue: Depose the Voidic King so that Dawnstone may know sanity once more, else see that it is no more.

In acknowledgement of their dealings with enemy forces, the Crafting Delights company is expelled from doing business within the Realm of Delphina. Storefronts found to be run or owned by affiliates will be promptly vacated.

Following a demonic intrusion in the capital, promptly quelled and investigated, Delphinan authorities warn of a new threat: The organization known as RISE possesses and has demonstrated the capability to warp the minds of Demons into something all the more unabashedly violent. The captured specimen, a demonic wasp, had cast aside all sense of self-preservation in the pursuit of Nephilim and their Champions after being altered by the iconoclastic terrorists. Whether this transformative power strictly applies to Demons, unknown but better left unassumed.

ʚїɞ:
A land relatively rife with spiritmancers even following the disappearance of its practicing Spring Queen, word is of ongoing efforts to create spiritual protections for the Realm, or perhaps even protectors...  But until, if, and even when such a providence comes, it does no harm to look towards one's fellows of the mortal substance in trying times. An added depth of coordination is invited between allied forces and those of the Elzara, and vice versa, from training exercises to joint patrols against the Fel.

ʚїɞ: As ever, the occult is forbidden within the Realm. Foreign visitors from friendly nations that are capable of such magics are tenuously permitted, so long as they do not manifest them whatsoever within the land. Said nations however, are expected to accept and understand the fault of their own citizenry should infraction come incurred and accountability be leveled. To come to Delphina is to be mindful of its law.

It is no strange occurence to those familiar with Delphinans and most particularly the Faeborne, to find their opinions obscured and convoluted by a complex web of eloquence, etiquette, and niche cultural references. One can at least, usually, gather a vague impression.

He who remains, the Overlord sits alone within the throne room.

Contrary to popular human belief, Skarnfel has never been in disarray. The city and its fiends cultivating their efforts in order to pursue grand ambitious plans that have been leaked all across the country by certain spies and knowing individuals. Much has happened throughout the past few years since their victorious march against their neighbor which resulted in the loss of yet another Imperfect.

New Blood has been granted the opportunity to rocket through the ranks as a small sense of order has been settled over the hoard. Three notable figures may stand out above the rest; Eranath, Mei'Ria, Merrett Lux Rosethorne. These souls have been granted minor Lordship and stand at the rank of Vizier to aspire for the right to sit upon the empty thrones of Skarnfel, to truly take up the Mantle as the next generation. Their word is second only to Xarxes.

  • With the overwhelming victory against the Hypocrites March, Skarnfel now sets its sights fully toward Aphros. Total annihilation of the city was foretold and forewarned on many occasions. One could only assume they would honor this ideal in the near future.
  • The Vassal states of the Skarnfel Empire have had their Leaders assured... or removed, the Crimson Keep being rebranded while the Fel Gardens remains under Eranath's control.
  • Change has been riddled through the streets of the Necropolis as servants were put to work in order to revere Leaders of old with statues erected, a strong pursuit for the sake of growing power that would one day topple any who once held the throne was being pressured.
  • Rumors of catastrophic rituals being prepared to go underway continue to grow... what might come in the near future?

The recent death of their Mayor Benjamin Thomson and the slaying of The White Wolf, Mero Dominic unleashed the gates of Hel unto Audhild as all could hear and see. Once more did Galland Silvanas in his old age, find himself leading his homeland in its darkest hour. Plans are in the making for a statue in the late Benjamin's honour, which will grace the streets of Audhild soon.

A series of 'Contingency Plans' unleashed by the Head of Research, Umbra are beginning to unfold in preparation for the worst to come. All means are being used to prepare for the upcoming assault. Nothing will be off the table.

The newly appointed Commander, Miland Silvanas calls to those who wish to join them and fight against the incoming Fel threat. The Audhild guard is always seeking new recruits! Alucard H. Sun has also been promoted to Captain!

The new Delight's District has been built to the South of Audhild, connecting the main township with the rest of the buildings at it's southern cliffs peak, where a new dockyard is being planned by the Treasurer, Silvanus. This is to further trade space for Port Fortune as well as other friendly and neutral nations. The streets grow quiet as the workshops within the new district work tirelessly day and night.

"The gold must flow."

Following the sabotaged raid against Sheol and the failed Crusade led by Aphros and their armies, the deafening silence of allies Audhild had often heavily sacrificed for, has not gone unnoticed. Audhild awaits word, but we won't hold our breath.

For years, Atheoria had remained veiled in an eerie silence, the echoes of history resonating through its abandoned corridors and moss-covered spires. It was a realm marked by a profound absence, the shadows cast by Kieran and Ael Amelyn's mysterious departure leaving a void that echoed through time. In their absence, their brother, Vel, ascended to the role of Hierophant, the guardian of a realm left to wander aimlessly.

As the years unfolded, Zeref, the Commander of Dawnstone, saw an opportunity in the quiescence of Atheoria. He seized the moment, determined to reclaim what was rightfully his. Vel, willingly surrendered his position to the Commander.

In the aftermath of Aphros' failed attempt to raid Dawnstone, Zeref  marshaled the forces of Dawnstone and led a sweeping campaign to cleanse the swampy lands of Atheoria, the lingering taint of the failed invasion serving as a bitter reminder of past transgressions. In its place, the banners of Dawnstone were unfurled, signifying the dawn of a new era. Atheoria, once a realm of obscurity, was now declared the vassal of Dawnstone.

Within the towering fortress that stood at the heart of swamps, Zeref raised his voice and proclaimed his lordship. The dragon sin of wrath, now in control of the reclaimed swamplands, would ensure that the realm flourished under his rule. As the commander of dawn and the lord of the swamp.

In the past two years, Pleonexia had remained isolated and silent on the state of the world, content with trading at their own pace and flying under the general attention of the populace of the continent, however with the year closing down and the worse of the war assumedly coming to an end soon the board of chairmen that head the city finally put out an official statement.

   Thus, it was. After the fight to save Audhild, with no help from their allied partner Dawnstone, it was now seen that the Ookamis found themselves in a bit of a jam. Ba'alhumorus, the pack's priest, thought it be time for the wolves to do what they stated they would do along time ago. Much like the Moxtli from the lands of Essher, The Morriganna declared their independece from the nations of the land in efforts to bring birth to the land of beastkin on Meranthe. Making Nyflheim as it's home base.



The battle for Audhild left the Morrigana and it's Ookami race wounded and scarred. Many Ookami lost their lives in efforts to help Vent with his attempts to defend the allied land. And though Vent made it out alive and unscathed, the town lost lessers who were not fit for the battle. This cause the two brothers to withdraw and rebuild. Upon visiting Nyflheim, you will see a new church and other lighting and gardening structures that influence the sights.


Many wonder what the plan is for the pack of beastkin to the east. Ba'alhumorus thought it be simple, stand on his independence, find meaningful allies, and continue to enlighten all beastkin kind of their true potential and place of origin. In doing so, one of the first place the leaders will visit is the newly established Pleonexia. The Ookami welcome the group to the land of Meranthe with open arms.


The Lands of Nyflheim , under the ownership of Vent and Ba'alhumorus, will also open it's doors to those who seek to run with the wolves. As well as those who were left behind in the quack of destruction in the battle for Audhild. Being that they all fought together, and lost together, the Morrigana extends his hand in alliance,  or on neutral grounds with those they partnered in arms. For those willing to fight alongside the beastkin were worthy comrades nonetheless.


The Morrigana will continue to stand for balance. They will continue to fight against both excess ruination and preservation. In a hopes to maintain the ever so tipping scales of the eternal chase. They will grow in numbers and continue to hunt the fields of Meranthe for those who stray to far to return.

The is no speech that comes in the wake of battle; What once was Lemuri Castle had burned brightly one night in the forsaken north beyond Mount Vdali, settling afterwards. Holy magic seeped through its walls, combatants forced into their fights. Eventually, the small squadron of magi from Aegis manage to stand inside the castle, having defeated all who defended it in a show of swift and measured brutality, with thunderstorms and aether marking the occasion.

And so, the fortress dawns rebranded as the Ten's Citadel, with plans for the future made available when the blue and yellow banners fly upon the walls.
  • The Fortress serves as a ground to stand against the forces of evil; Its location in the frozen north and close to the ruins of Vdalion are not a coincidence in the slightest.
  • Work is being done to expand the city and its capabilities of holding people, seemingly provoked by the changing political background of the world.
  • The Citadel is a place where all the Pantheon and Constants have their worship accepted, even if some gather some focal point, likely due to the leadership of Sabathiel and Eivor in religious matters. With the grounds, they seek to unite the faiths under one single banner to bolster all of them upwards.
  • With the news of Aphros, word spreads that refugees are accepted; However, citizenship is guarded under the discretion of their own ranks, and to be kept exclusive to those who show themselves as valuable to Meranthe and its well being.
  • To ally with that, there are rumors of a potential academy to be their next focus - Where new talent is to be trained and molded to better safeguard the continent.

The infamous Timelord has since retired with the final march against Aphros, a new Overlord has since emerged within the city of Skarnfel now taking the reigns in order to tackle the encroaching forewarned future. Rumor has it that the Timelord is not completely finished with his work, but is instead focusing upon the great many tasks to be finalized in the background.

The presence of Xarxes will be felt far less within the fel nations, yet it was not entirely scrubbed from this Timeline... After all, there was always more work to do. Still, a subtle drift of systemic reformations heralded the ascension of the Lord Rosethorne to dominion, seen by the founding of a council and the formal dismisal of the adjacent twin thrones.
It is said that a single ruler will govern over the thriving Fel empire, watchful of its prosperity until the advent of an imperfect demon or a being comparable in magnitude and power emerges. 

  • The Overlord Xarxes has retired, with Merrett Rosethorne stepping up to assume the mantle of leadership in his stead.
  • The Fel empire looks poised to build upon the fallen city of Aphros and broaden their dominion.
  • A council has been formed to serve as advisors to the new Overlord as well as leaders to the common man. Its members cosnsist of Melione Hiraeth, Evelyn Nightshade, and Eris with another name set to join them. The members of such council will change based on their performance.
  •  Whispers flutter concerning nearing projects for the practitioners of forbidden arts. The covens' Supremes within the Fel empire are set to meet and then begin a heinous scheme  while the Necromancers are summoned to mold even more -colossal- abominations from flesh and bone... 
  • Skarnfel's focus shifts to the settlements present in the west, the Dark forces' appetite for conquest and demolition proving to be insatiable as they sought to levy annihilation upon their oppressors.

This place, as a center of wicked activities and as a bastion are unceasing. With success after success, their eternal revelry is unceasing. +

+ The stolen artifact blade was used as a conduit for the death of Misfortune. His freedom to die obtained, the Heir of Misfortune comes to being. The blade remains in the possession of the Grand Guignol. +

+ A moment perhaps predestined from her inception. Cinderella is to be crowned Queen of Sheol, claiming such a mantle from the present ruler Ustrea. +

+  The position of Ustrea shifts, watching Sheol as inheritor of Misfortune's aether and the now detached Realm Six.

+ The Royal Guard of Sheol are born; children in service to the name of Lyseroth. +

+ Experiments with the Hel Bound resume, perhaps seeking another generation following the successes of the last. +
