The horns of war had been ongoing during the entirety of this year as the fight between New Dexia and the Golden Horde had reached an ultimatum.
The Bats of Nyt'jhem writing upon a ritual on the walls; an act that had been seen by them, and yet none who attempted to stop it. A destruction to an unknown variable that would only be seen during the aftermath.

The day of the war had come; a bloodied battle on both sides, the outcome to be decided by the leaders of both Dexia and the Magyars.
A battle of Fire and Ice, a song of clashing blades. Drakanite upon drakanite, rage versus a joy of battle inevitably leading to a close finale -- Taglia Djulkorren, fallen by the hands of Elvira Kerekes.
Overshadowing the victory however was the moonbeam obliterating New Dexia.

Absolute destruction. Hundreds, gone.
Taglia given a warriors death, life force fed to the fire spirit born recently; allowed a peaceful passing.

• New Dexia is no more. Vengeance for their fallen Kargan had been successful, and their initial goal of forcing the enemy off of their holy sands has been done. No more do the Magyars have a bone to pick with those of New Dexia, albeit the Dexians most likely shall hold one forevermore. The breadth of the destruction of lives claimed through a literal moon nuke perhaps has left a sour taste within the Khans' mouth.
  
• In light of new information received, Liviana Na'hrem is no longer under the protection of the Horde nor of Elvira personally. A momentary grace period has been given to the bat of Nyt'jhem by the Khan in order to honour all that they had been through together - but others' hands are not stayed during this period. It is noted through the whispers of the swordsmen by those passing that once this grace period is over, the Kerekes herself will be hunting the Na'hrem to also honour an agreement made with Lirael Equisol of Aphros.
  
• Amidst all of this, the Horde can be seen once again preparing themselves - but for what? Whatever it is, it's quite obvious that they remain as busy as ever in the light of their victory. Perhaps plans to initiate growth further into their holy dunes?
  
• Prior to the war, Kasia has been named Tarqan - Head Smith - as well as emissary of relations between the Horde and the Frontier. Those who live in the Frontier and wish to try and broker some sort of deal are encouraged to speak to her.
  
• In light of the victory, plans for a Kurultai are also underway; but this Kurultai in particular seems to be... different than the last, somewhat changed from a simple Rite of Initiation.
  
• New Dexians are no longer at risk of being hunted.
  
• Mercenary contracts are re-opened, although it remains to be seen if any truly wish to deal with the Horde in this manner. Old bounties are once more reignited; witch hunting and demon hunting have begun in full.

The Dragon Slumbers.

Stagnation does not settle over the Shadowlands, as tendrils of abyssal darkness reach out from the accumulating dust. The time has arrived for a change. A new title was bestowed upon Xarxes, who, along with Archon Na'Ria, have taken joint custody of the shadowlands Capital, both setting on the thrones as the peak of this bleak landscape that now answers only to the them.

A new Strategus, March, would be named; under Na'Ria's command, they would aid in restructuring the ranks of Skarnfel. It seems more roles are left unfilled, a grand restructuring of the balance and order of the legion; talks abound of Taxiarchs and Prophets begin to sprout forth, though none have been named.

• Rumors have it sights were settling upon Aphros after the victory gained by Na'Ria against Faoivein. A prior meeting echoes the desires of all within the Shadowlands seeking to have their neighbors pushed free from their lands entirely.
  

• Discussions were made about some grand project the Nephairy has been working on coming to completion before the decade was out... Something sinister is at play, yet perhaps it was mentioned and seemed to fly over the heads of many. It may be connected to the Hel Myst Legion which has grown to an unbelievable number, the Shadowlands have been flooded with High End Undead soldiers leading to some mysterious end...
  

• The Primordial of Gluttony has made an appearance within the Shadowlands after the Ascent to the Throne... Rumor also have it a food shortage came shortly after such events.
  

• Whispers have it that the Ba'al coven are gathering in Skarnfel. With the fall of the prior Coven Leader it seems that a new one was elected swiftly. Soon enough a grand gathering may be held.
  

• The Obelisk of the End remains a place of activity hosting scholars, fel warriors, and demons alike which have been sighted moving in and about the place. It also remains a shared Garrison betwixt the Crimson Keep and Skarnfel with a volume of combative forces lurking at the ready.

Preparations for a large ritual appear to have been made within Sheol, causing the capital of the Grand Guignol to seemingly be abuzz with countless activity. Numerous cults and covens scattered appeared to have started rallying under Gluttony's banner in preparation for this ritual just as well, and with the renewed bond between Sheol and Skarnfel due to the instatement of Xarxes as the latter's new leadership, it appears that things were looking solidified on the frontlines yet again.

• The gathering of power within Jormungandr's Stomach appeared to have reached its zenith, no doubt associated with the ritual to come. Whatever it may entail or whatever may come after it has yet to be seen, but with the lowered defenses on the day of, it may very well be easier than expected to catch a glimpse or attempt to thwart the forces of Sheol during the aforementioned ceremonies.
  
  
• The Primordial within Gluttony's Maw appears to have been busy as of late, no doubt tied to the ritual to come. The chain of command appears to have been changed as well, with Masika being named as the successor to Sheol and Aubrey Caewynn being named as the successor to the coven as the next Supreme.
  
  
• True to his usual handling of matters, Lyseroth appears to have taken an otherwise hands-off approach to the rest of his people, allowing them to do their preparations as they please. Some speak of how they were all being given the reins to do as they please, perhaps indicative of Gluttony's Maw's impending changes.
  
  
• A sabbath has been announced yet again. This time to be lead by the next Supreme in line, Aubrey Caewynn. It appears to have been set before the aforementioned large ceremony to come, no doubt as a means of also proliferating information. Spies and allies alike are advised to prepare to infiltrate and visit respectively during the day of.
  
  
• The Grand Guignol appears to have a new princess crowned within it, said to be Lyseroth's final fairytale and story as the Playwright. A callback to who he was and who he used to be before the changes to his nature, to that of Gluttony and eventually that of a Primordial. Rumors have it that he very well may be a doting father to the aforementioned princess...

Following the events of For Whom The Bell Tolls the people of Sheol were not seen mourning, but carrying on as if little had changed. For any outcome they were prepared, and from the outside? The transition seemed seamless, with those selected to step into new roles doing so without issue.

A new play was being prepared for Meranthe's stage.

• Simultaneously, Aubrey Caewynn and Masika arise to their positions of Supreme and Sheol's leader respectively. 
  The both working in hand and hand to ensure the best course of action for the Grand Guignol.
  
  
• With the destruction of Nyt'hjem those who remain loyal to the Moon's Chosen have since migrated and assimilated into Sheol with authority over the batkin to remain under Liviana Na'hrem.
  
  
• The Grand Guignol's coven has been making active efforts to recruit new members to their cause with the rise of a faith dedicated to Lyseroth, and those interested should reach out to Aubrey Caewynn for more information or recruitment.

The attack on Gluttony's Maw has since passed. Delphina stabilizes, both its political atmosphere and the capital city itself. Past deaths of Myron Vorraog and Roman come to light. They signal the renewal of the Kingdom's defense.

With the previous construction complete, the grove of trees that surround the city start to resemble the enchanted forests they once were. No longer does the city experience the odd blackout and it's said the (baby) runeoak passively glows. Long-range psionic communication becomes difficult, and those that hold within them a certain malaligned presence quickly find that Delphina is perhaps the only place in Meranthe not receptive to them.

After decades of stillness, the desert city has awoken. Final Frontier stands strong upon the shifting sands. Through the constant expansion and advances achieved at the Desert Facility, they have unlocked a promising future full of opportunity and progress.


✲ With the disappearance and inactivity of former Director Eleos Lux Aurea, Andes Moraine now occupies the current Director seat at large. However, his contributions and presence have been noted, recorded and celebrated. Solais shall be maintained and perhaps expanded.

✲ Along with the new leadership, Final Frontier plans on resuming many, many projects that were on hold. In addition, there is soon to be a move to begin recruiting more people into the Proto-Institute.

✲ With talks of a casino, Final Frontier extends it's support and will, as a nation, support the maintaining of the casino as a neutral environment without any disturbances.

✲ The Director may host new lessons on Golemcrafting soon when tensions clear.

✲ Despite the possibility of conflict, Final Frontier and the Director firmly establishes that nothing of the city plans to change in the way they conduct work. The animunculi as a whole will not be ceasing and perhaps there may be new ones on the way. If any of the Animunculi violate legal statutes of other nations, Final Frontier understands that they are individuals and with evidence, leaves them to litigative systems.

✲ Regardless of conflict state, there are rumors of discussions to form an artificing coalition combining the efforts of several cities. While not a proper alliance, the point of the grouping is to encourage coming together to help build city-wide wonders, as well as being able to lend out artificers for up and coming folk who can't seem to find any. While this seems like a mere fledgling idea, hopes are that it will bloom.

Lyseroth has been chained and sealed. An effort of not one but many. For some time since then has Elvira been recovering from the wounds sustained in the bout with the demigod, and it is now that she is fully coming back into her own strength. Albeit with a large portion of herself missing --

But the Khan and the Horde live and they grow stronger, even though one Kure Avincus seeks to butt his way into what is essentially a family business. A deal had already been struck with Mineyo Djulkorren on earning her mothers' hammer back by showing over time that she will become as grand a warrior as Taglia was. Any further attempts to return the hammer that are not done through this child will be ignored and all letters burned.

˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗ Kurultai has been held once more. Initiations have been conducted for those who had been waiting some time for their rite to be part of the Horde fully. Of names to note: Tempus, Ventirion Calafax, Balenciaga Von Vogit, Alphonse and Edel are now all official tribal members.
Of specific roles to note: Evren Kerekes rises to the mantle of Kargan in the wake of his mentors' death.
Tempus, Ventirion Alphonse and Ilyas are all part of the Hordes' Keshig: their elite force championed and lead by Emir, the Khan's chosen.
And of grand importance: With his connection to Tzernobog, Edel has been named the dunedrakes' chosen emissary. He is encouraged to grow this connection more to be able to truly and proudly say he can act as his voice.

˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗ Violet and Virtu Equisol are hereby banned from entering Redrock. In fact, if they are seen trespassing near territory, all tribal members have been giving permission to capture them on sight. Proteus Equisol and Valdis Equisol however seem to be receiving acceptance by the Khan herself.

˗ˏˋ ★ ˎˊ˗ The Golden Horde's stance on Talguth is made clear: They are a Spirit, not a demonic entity, and as such as long as they wish to reside upon their lands will they be protected as such. Those who come to visit and given the spirits blessing are granted immunity from tribute for the day, but it is still recommended to pay respects upon the lands they walk on.

It has been only four years since the first Dorian landed upon the shores of Meranthe, in these four years more Dorians had joined him. Through their struggles to understand the very land that had thrown out their Motherland Aenites, these few Dorians have made their nature known and why they are here upon the land. It is not for conquest, it is not for their resources, it is not even for their ways of life ... even if they do not agree.

Those of the Crimson Keep have been hard at work. Cutting business deals, and gathering materials and information to begin the construction of something great. This is unknown to the public for now, but those around the Crimson Keep would notice more heavily armed guards, and more demonic presence as time went on. Something was a-brewing. Just what was going on over there?

• Valerie Hemwick has been crowned the Princess of Crimson Keep, and Emissary has been made a Duchess. The only Official's of the keep aside from Fallon, and their Commander Yoriun. Together they form the Crimson Council.
  

• Those of the Keep have begun posting fliers and posters mentioning recruitment. The Keep is looking for talented artificers, warriors, and are willing to take in anyone as long as they do not practice holy magic, or anything else considered tabboo.
  

• Valerie is looking for Demons, Undead, or Occultist's who are willing to help her with rituals. Those of Skarnfel and Sheol are notified and even offered Payment, if only they find the Princess for more details.
