1843 AC
With the retirement of Commander Marcel Delisle, Augustus Vorenii assumes leadership of Achyon.

Quote: Wrote:"For as long as I have been a Private within Achyon's Hand the Colony has successfully defeated, repelled and stood firm against the combined forces of our enemies.

The Shimmering City and the Tribespeople both, even with their combined strength, have failed to take from us our home, and we are but a part of a much larger force.

Much as we have, Aesirheim has also stood bulwark against the coalition of Moxtli and Osrona in their own war with the Fireblooded, the weak band together in a show of desperation.

While both our nations are not one's to rely on the help of outside forces, it is long overdue that we end those who would oppose us, for this reason we are henceforth allied with Aesirheim.

The Kingdom of Asphodel, only new but home to many powerful magi, has become the target of a siege by Osrona merely weeks after opening their court for visitors, they too will join this alliance with us.

Together, our people will enjoy freedom of movement and trade, and the benefit of loyal allies to assist in the battles to come."

ᔸ   Augustus Vorenii has been promoted to Commander following Marcel Delisle's retirement.

ᔸ   The Iron Council remains in effect and is comprised of; Augustus Vorenii, Marcel Delisle, Nidaz Vanreth, Alexei pyr Docro, Lucy, Niffty and Titus pyr Aertas.

ᔸ   The position of Adjutant is now open following Lucy's resignation to focus on background administrative issues, those who are interested are encouraged to approach the Council.

ᔸ    The colony of Achyon is now officially allied with Aesirheim and the Kingdom of Asphodel.

ᔸ     Achyon soldiers have been sighted at the Vanirhallan outpost training alongside the forces of Aesirheim and the Kingdom of Asphodel in preparation for the upcoming siege of Asphodel.

Current relations to Achyon:
- Asphodel is an ALLY.
- Aesirheim is an ALLY
- Moxtli is an ENEMY.
- Osrona is an ENEMY.
- The Fireblooded are an ENEMY.

~After narrowly being fended off by the forces of the Fireblooded, the Vanir pulled back their forces after the cacophonous roar Garljing himself rained down upon his followers new and old. Though despite this, it's said the attack did deliver a considerable reward.

~Despite the mercy of Aesirheim when handling their own Fireblooded prisoners, such mercy was spat upon after the sacrifice of Skoll Kveld. It's said the Jarl's stance on prisoners has drastically shifted in the time since.

~Soldiers of Achyon have been plainly spotted doing training exercises with Aesirheim's own forces, a display of the growing relations between the two nations.

~In the months since some the assault on the Coat, the Vanir have since allied themselves with Achyon and Asphodel.

~Due to the formed Alliance, the forces of Aesirheim will move to the aid of Asphodel in their upcoming battle offering their full support.

Current Relations of Aesirheim are as follows:

Osrona - Neutral
Moxtli - Neutral
The Fireblooded - Hostile
Achyon - Allied
Asphodel - Allied
The Shadowmire - Hostile

The Shadowmire - 1843 AC
The forest grows, Denizens are moving and working towards something. Some of them walks to the heart of the Mire, some to the west and starts to build something but weirdly, not a single sound comes from the Mire. The Bell has grown quieter.
  • The Mire starts to work towards the West within their grounds. An expansion will soon take place.
  • The Cult of Nyx still exists within the Mire and is growing each day. Joining it is not an requirements to join the Mire.
  • The Mire is still a home for the broken, exiled, forgotten and monsters. Seek Torgon if thou want to live within such place.
  • The toll for entering the Mire remains the same, a single drop of blood to pay respects to the old ones and Nyx.
  • The Mire is a family, a broken one but still a family. Attacking your own is a crime that will be punished. With what? Do it and Discover.
  • Torgon has projects being put in action within the Mire to help the Denizens and Nyx. Seek him to discover more.
  • If any person wants to learn more about Nyx, seek Nill, the Orator shall be able to answer thy questions.

Quote: Wrote:"S'make Achyon great again."

ᔸ   The rat Captain Niffty has been promoted to Commander following Augustus Vorenii's death.

ᔸ   Sylavanum, the Docro prized drug has been made legal for soldier consumption once more. - Though it must be tracked, if you're a user you must find your closest Sergeant officer or above to report such. The state-funded profits will go toward The Family.

Quote: Wrote:
"We don' need weak soldiers. We want only the strong in our forces."

"The weak sat indoors n' smoked soothin' reeds ta' 'scape; the strong huffed Sylavanum ta' feel even stronger."

ᔸ   The Iron Council remains in effect and is comprised of; Niffty, Nidaz Vanreth, Alexei pyr Dorcro, Vasil pyr Aertas, Claudette, and Synesia Astra.

ᔸ   A ceremony in honour of Viktor Delisle will be held, a promotion well earned after singlehandedly taking down the king of the Mire, Torgon.

ᔸ   The alliance with the Kingdom of Asphodel still runs strong, very many soldiers, even the Commander herself can be seen making trips back and forth over the years.

Current relations to Achyon:

- Aesirheim is an ALLY
- Moxtli is an ENEMY.

As the world shifts, the rescue of some, and the betrayal of others, Osrona's council convenes once more. Re-organization and a renewed purpose pushes them forward through the adversities they face.

"I'll just be figurin' out...Oaths and the like. See, I never took one as I was bein' promoted, much t' the surprise of others. Unlike some, I haven't needed one."

"For the fact I don't care t' be fancy with all this, I'll go on ahead and give my own small Oath, upon my Epitome."

"Upon my past and the present, I swear an oath to uphold the ethics that have led me to this position. Even if this is a new chapter in my life, it does not change what I owe to Osrona, as I will continue protecting it, this I swear."

— Lightbearer Auxis

Radiant Auxis has been promoted to the rank of Lightbearer and has been granted a seat on the council to replace his predecessor.

Following the retirement of Atagi Taiyang his seat on the council remains vacant. Reports of the current council members scouting for a potential replacement seem accurate.

With his betrayal being clear and intentional, Elias orn Soleis is to be killed on sight should he dare emerge from the abyss enthralling him.

Due to her tremendous efforts and her dedication, Melody lei Vel Kruger had her work recognized by the council. Word of the new Lightbearer wishing to speak to her spreads. A form made by her has been posted all around the city for its people to fill.

As the project of the Aurora Chasm advances, councilman Seifer K. Gardios is on the search for magi capable with both earth and metaphysical forces, as well as any available Wayfinder to construct the location of the Chasm itself. More details are to follow.

Concerning the entity known as The Dreamer, the efforts made to purify the shard she left were successful, the images displayed upon its surface are clearer than ever and depict Starfall in many scenes. Its attunement to the Lifestream allows one image to have the most clarity within recent events: The depiction of a pale blue lotus sat almost glowing on the surface of a dark, still lake.

The Order of the Second Dawn has been hosting many, many more drills in recent months. Their forces grow stronger and larger by the day, according to many reports.

The Shimmering City's relations are as follow:

Fireblooded - Allied
Moxtli - Allied
Achyon - Hostile
Vanirhallan - Hostile
Asphodel - Pathetic

1847

Quote:"Times are changing in Garjling's Coat, it is time we remind Esshar the true might of dragons. We are through with remaining on the mountain, allow them to hear our roar."
- Doriya Helenium, Dragonlord of the Fireblooded

֎ Following the murder of Councilman Raija Helenium by Vekel, the Fireblooded shift their focus to both Aesirheim and Asphodel to seek retribution for their lost comrade.

֎ The Fireblooded still continue to work on their expansion in Garjling's Coat and are currently planning a Festival of the Divine to celebrate its completion.

֎ Artificers in Garjling's Coat currently work on a new project, one that will bring a new era of crafting to the Fireblooded.

֎ A small group of Fireblooded successfully return from their expedition to the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, though their goals are still publically unknown.

֎ After numerous years of service, battles against enemies, and expeditions to benefit the Fireblooded Ciel Valkrin has been promoted to Warlord, and Iris Vartuul and Driyar Hedor have been promoted to Dragonlord.

The current leaders of the Fireblooded are as follows:

Duniya Vartuul: Den Mother

Doriya Helenium: Dragonlord
Iris Vartuul: Dragonlord
Driyar Hedor: Dragonlord

Ciel Valkrin: Warlord

֎ After years of internal progress made, murmurs of upcoming battles are mentioned throughout the Coat. Aesirheim and  Asphodel will not get away with murdering their own.

֎ The current relations within Esshar remain the same, though their focus has expanded.

Osrona - Allied

Moxtli - Allied
Achyon - Hostile
Aesirheim - Hostile
Asphodel - Hostile

1848:
Moxtli over the year has been conflicted- Changes would have to be made, plans had to be made. With the Saekanni festival done with with great success, and a few issues of Moxtli's dealt with there can finally be progress made for the Village.

» Money is being raised for expansion, the expansion goal for the first part of 50,000 Crown is nearly met. The second goal of 100,000 will be worked on next.
Meanwhile the funds for the Expedition have been saved up and have been ready to be used.
» Xuelian Bei-Feng has officially been appointed to Head Shaman.
Current Important People of Moxtli are as Followed:
Chieftain: Thorn Meztin
Head Shaman: Xuelian Bei-Feng

Shamans(Actively in Moxtli): Kiemi'a Shezorei
Apprentice: Hanu Vidrio
War-Chiefs(Also Active in Moxtli): Cedar Grace, Ektu Grace
» The Spirit General and Voice of Moxtli begin to raise numbers and ushering their troops eastwards, to Fort Umbra. To fight against Asphodel and the Shadowmire alike for control over Fort Umbra, it's destruction is tantamount. (Joining raid and transforming it into a Moxtli v. Asphodel. V. Shadowmire)

» While Sibyl and Cedar's idea saving Andromeda from living a life that not even Eternia itself was impossible even by the Head Shaman summoning Asena, The Great Summer Wolf to find a way so she could live without ruining the Lifestream failed... The success of meeting the Divine White Wolf herself was a great success.

Current relations to Moxtli:

- Osrona is an ALLY.
- The Fireblooded is an ALLY.
- Achyon is an ENEMY.
- Asphodel is an ENEMY.
- Aesirheim is an ENEMY.
- The Shadowmire is an ENEMY.

1849 A.C.

❖ Despite suffering an attack by Osrona in recent years, the Crimson Court has seen to rebuild all damage in entirety. Anti-aircraft measures have been put in place to prevent such a sudden surprise maneuvering in the future.

❖ An expansion project is in the works, with funds having been collected, though discussions about what to add are still underway.

❖ After the successful destruction of Fort Umbra, the Kingdom as a whole sets its sights upon Nyx and the Shadowmire in particular, though there have been no official invasion plans drawn up yet. The military is instead focusing its efforts elsewhere, given the political climate upon Esshar as a whole.

❖ Word has spread that the Queen has in her possession a transceiver, that of Osrona's mysterious technology. Work is now underway to replicate the device, and see them spread throughout the higher echelon of the Crimson Court.

❖ With Osrona preparing to mount an attack upon Achyon, the Queen has been spotted moving in and out of the Docro manor, as well as Achyon as a whole. The Crimson Court's troops have been spotted departing Aesirheim, and official word has been dispatched, especially upon hearing some peculiar news elsewhere-

Quote:As we have promised, the Kingdom of Asphodel stands prepared to defend Achyon to the utmost, as they have done for us in the past. Through toil and strife has our bond been hardened to a significant degree, and no amount of propaganda or honey-coated lies will see it broken.

The people of Osrona speak of peace, yet they take the opportunity to butcher anyone who dissents. It was I, not them, who sought peaceful resolution and merciful outcomes for their own. When handed prisoners from Asphodel, what is it they do?

Slaughter them without a second thought, as in the case with mister Jigan Ikaris.

As a result, I cannot simply stand by while they set their sights upon my closest ally. While I do not agree with all of Barsburg's methodology, I respect their vision and ambition. To see a world one day without divine influence, to see the veil of religious hypocrisy lifted from the eyes of mankind. Pillars which I can stand by, ideals which I can make terms with.

With the death of Jarl Rune, our sovereignty over Aesirheim has been broken as a whole. The few warriors who remain there have an opportunity to move to Asphodel, but we will not move to defend it, given its vulnerable position. It is more of a liability at the moment, and not worth our efforts.

I have not forgotten about the Shadowmire either. There is only enough room for one Queen on Esshar, and Nyx will be dealt with in time.

For the moment, however, I stand in solidarity with Achyon.

1849 AC - the year of independence

"The Triumvirate marches with you."

War never ends on Esshar, or so it seems. Amidst the rising tensions between notable nations on the continent, a new Jarl of Aesirheim is elected unanimously following Revna Rune's death. Jarl Vekel has reclaimed the home that once exiled him, having spent the better part of the last two years building relations in the shadows. The leader delivers a short speech to those gathered.

Quote:We are free. Finally, I've been chosen to lead my people into a new age of glory. Let me address something...

Despite Asphodel's strongest warriors originating from Aesirheim, they've dubbed our people a liability. It's a good thing, really. It goes to show that those opportunistic cowards have no use for anyone save those who can offer them immediate benefit.

My actions are my own. Warriors of Aesirheim are free to fight any battle so long as they do not betray their home. Their actions are theirs.

I personally will not attack anyone from Osrona, Achyon, Moxtli nor the Fireblooded unless I'm attacked first. My focus will go toward hunting enemies from the eastern kingdom.

I'm excited to see what the future has in store for me. What trials will the Blood God subject me to next?

- Vekel

♅ Vekel is unanimously elected as the new Jarl of the Shadowed Savanna.

♅ There are rumors of planned, secret diplomatic meetings between Aesirheim and some bigger nations.

♅ Iris Vartuul was spotted at the inauguration ceremony. The Fireblooded and Aesirheim are maybe due to depart on a legendary expedition together.

♅ Numerous papers are published on notice boards across relevant nations, seeking daring adventurers who'd like to accompany the Vanirhallans on their voyages.

♅ The outpost has opened its doors for those who wish to join their efforts, with notable Magi already having procured land in the desert.

Year 1849

Torgon has fallen, and with him the old ways of the Shadowmire shift beneath the pressures of a changing world. Internal strife and conflict paralyze the land of monsters for almost two years following the King's death. Yet, within the past few months a new order is being formed as the strongest of the Mire take up the reigns left behind by Torgon.

Quote:"The surface can never accept us. It will instead learn to fear that which dwells in the dark."

It is clear from the start that something is changing within those lands. With the rise of its new leadership the raids that
once frequented the Mire's depths have all but ceased. The darkness of those lands obscure how this change was made possible to those beyond it. Perhaps it was strength alone or something more scary to think about.
The Horde which gathered to assail the Dreadwoods and claim its treasures from Asphodel has stalled. There march having ceased as they settle into the old jungles and seem to be awaiting something. Meanwhile, in the far western edge of Esshar the Pauper's Bride has been seen once again. No sirenians can be seen upon the old vessel, however, as a crew of monsters seem to be learning how to sail such a vessel.
  • The Mire's leading figure to the outside world is Nanzo the Tyrant.

  • The Cult of Nyx is reforged under Nestis' leadership.

  • The Cult of the Spiral gathers more followers by the night under Dok Zong.

  • The King of Rhymes Rigs takes over the role of Bastion of the Mire.

  • The Forges of the Torkeep have been lit once more as Abe take's over the mantle of Forgemaster.

  • Both Cults seem to have expeditions planned for differing purposes. One faith the other knowledge.
Current Relations:
Asphodel: Hostile
Achyon: Hostile
Aesirheim: Hostile
Osrona: Hostile
Moxtli: Hostile
Docro: Peaceful
