option for private rpb boxes

please please please i hate getting into a fight in some hidden interior but because it's a shit arena we've gotta run outside and suddenly everyone who sees us fight knows i killed jfk

i dunno, just like. if you start an rpb in an interior zone, throw up a thing like "would you like to be given a flat arena to fight within" and if all participants smack (YES) everyone in range is warped off to an Arena Cell for the duration of it

if automating it is too ripe for abuse, maybe just put into writing some procedure where a private arena can be ahelp'd for so it can be figured out on a case by case basis

It'd kinda be cool to fight in an interior and just deal with the arena, i mean its super realistic, and adds to immersion. I do understand that feeling though i being in a hot area and everyone comes to watch.

The reason we've started pushing away from 'environmental battles' to flat square boxes is because, in the past, they've been heavily abused by certain people to massive advantages. "But that sounds kind of cool!" you might think, until you watch the sustain kite mage drift around twenty tables they placed themselves inside of a house to avoid all damage through use of strategically placed furniture. "That still sounds kind of neat!" you might think, but it puts certain people at drastic disadvantages for things they, themselves, can't control. In my opinion, the less 'RNG' we have in terms of combat, the better and more fulfilling it's going to feel, win or lose, at the end of the day.

actually yeah changed my mind, wouldn't be able to have a lotta fun scenes if I was always at base.

I still think it'd be cool to have different faction themed Arena maps for future use, maybe for those grand tournaments we could do it so every main faction/general area "hosts" the tournament, all fluff kinda stuff but, honestly, tournament rps would be so cool if there was a more, pre/after fighting focus.
