Conjurer is scuffed.

Everyone is thinking it, I'm just saying it.

Flower - Z - Mandrake - Z - Yggdrasil - Z - Flower - Z - Mandrake - Z - Flower - Z - Mandrake - Z

Disclaimer : I've not fought anyone with it. I just looked at the numbers. It gives me flashbacks to murdering people in a 3v1.
Disclaimer2 : If you think you are clever or witty for this, I designed the build in E2. It was an original character concept, and not meant to be stolen.   Angry

Give me back my character concept.

On a serious note, it's just bad. I've never made a real honest-to-god complaint about anything in this vein.

How would Avee suggest balancing it?

Whenever you press block in an RPB, every second you hold the block, you lose 10% of that DR effectiveness. Bottoming out at 10%DR. (This would apply to all blocks.)
It would reset to full DR after say 10 seconds, or something in that vein. This could be denoted in a similar way to dash in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.

This makes block skill-based.

I think bog would get a raging stiffie over this idea.

I think the shield is mostly fine, perhaps I would suggest 10*RPL, but as long as the cooldown is, I think it's okay.

Please forgive me for making this thread. I don't like to talk about things like this, as I don't feel it's generally my place to speak concerning balance. Yet, I feel as a player that whilst all the other stances are acceptable, or fine, this one is particular is just absolutely overwhelming.

I know someone will say I'm over-reacting, but I counter with the idea that giving 50%DR and a 3K shield just to respond to melee was over-reacting, particularly when all of the other stances are delightful and interesting in comparison.

Thank you for your time, and your view. I know I'm terrible at balance, but I thought I would throw in my two cents.

Forgive me.

This needs to happen. This needs to happen because DR stacking is fucking 0% to 100% where as any amount of damage is purely effected on this DR scale

We will see conjurer drakanite, as I've already made. At 200 rpl it will have 28%. A 3k shield on Q every 60 seconds. Blocking for 78% DR and not to mention the trees I will pick?
Bone Nature Crystal. Specifically for Reform, Yggdrassil and Crystal formation. Just sustain as hard as you can while holding Z y'know? Snap some crystal meth growing on the floor and let your vines and mandrake do the work as fart gasses from nature intoxicate your opponent into an abysmal rage.

That wont be the end of it. Earth aura gives 12% DR. 200 mana in tandem? 30% resting DR. Block for 80%. Use any build you want with that.

Want other sustain? Bone blood conjurer/ holy time conjurer /etc fucking conjuerer. It all becomes tanky. The one thing in common? Conjurer.

Thank you for coming to my tedtalk.

Really good block idea that still makes Conjurer good/worth. Please do, before we have a worse repeat of early e3 nature memes.

If the numbers on the passive and the active effects of the conjurer style were adjusted or changed to just as Avee's post outlines, it would be really good still but not oppressively good.

I also think that the old armed styles and unarmed stances should see some TLC, so they too can be just as cool as these new combat styles.

alternatively: the 50% block can only be 'used' every 8-10 seconds, and the 50% dr lasts 2 seconds to prevent stutter blocking but still reward people who can time it properly

I like the idea of the block DR decaying, personally!

Maybe a shield break mechanic could be implemented? If someone holds block down for longer than 5 seconds, the next attack will stun them for 0.5 secs or something? Don't gut block but punish people who just sit there spamming z
