To be Worthy - Theori - 10-09-2021 ![]() -Aris rin Petrakis in confession to the Keeper Myrine, late 1874.
In ages long past, the children of the Petrakis line would go on a pilgrimage to Salvation Point, the edge of the Esshar peninsula where the Astyan's first stepped on Esshar by the salvation of Malziel, now the place where an ancient Petrakis Vault lays. It was within here that they'd undergo the Trials of Mikhail, designed to reward those worthy with the gifts of their ancestry, and prove the throne safe with them. While the practice fell out of fashion in the late 1500s, Aris sees no reason it should not be observed, especially given that the tales say there those worthy would make a compact with their star, protecting their soul from ever being taken by evil - or sold to it, for that matter. Attendees: Aris rin Petrakis, Myrine, Astraeus lei Task, perhaps one other. Risk: Low CoD would be ideal - this isn't something to quite die over. Rewards: Petrakis heirlooms would be neat.
