A place for those in search of peace~
Do you plan on hosting an event? A wedding? Chess tournament? Auction or perhaps a Starlit-Ball? 
Then this is the place for you!

[Image: Cafe1.png]Fliers are placed on boards around Osrona, Starfall, the Fireblooded, and Aesirheim that the outdoor space near the Grotto, north of former Moxtli is now open for business!
Together with the faithful employee of Joelle, Maple Grace offers a peaceful retreat to anyone (As long as you come without intentions to harm) who wishes to rest. 
Services offered are both that of a piece of pie, home-cooked jam, or cup of tea to a full rental of the space, including catering.

Years have passed since the initial opening of the humble café upon the sea-side cliffs. 
Years of peace, turmoil. Trials and tribulations. 
And as of late, the business has been booming!

Joelle and Maple are struggling to keep up with the gathering of fresh ingredients and farming, and have therefore chosen to place an ad up on the bulletin boards around Esshar;

I'm currently looking for people willing to bring me reagents in return for pay. More specifically:
Fire crystals
Air Crystals
Rabbit Feet
Glowing Mushrooms

If you come with these to me, I'll pay fairly for them! 30-50 coin coin per reagent listed. For longer employ and other reagents, prices may be increased!

I am also looking for watering assistants! You get paid 200 coin per full crops watered! From Seed to Harvest!

Expand, Expand, Expand!

The Family tree, starting out as a small way and cliff-side cafe by a small Grace with Big Dreams, has since expanded. The farmlands have grown, a Clinic and Smithy has opened to the west of it in a shared building, and it's patrons have steadily increased over the years.
The Cafe is thriving.

Som’nium C. Grace acts as main physician, and Maple Grace helps out from time to time with all kinds of Injuries. 
If the injury is more severe, a small fee of 1200 coin will be charged for the use of materials in the emergency kits. Any donations of food in tandem with asking for healing is more than welcome as it’s quite a draining process, but this is not required. We hope to not see you here too often!

The main nursing office is top floor to the left.

The upstairs right as well as the out-door area of the newly added building is run as a smithy, run by Maple’s amazing and artificing genious of a Husband. He's assisted with the sales of his Artificed wears by George, one of the new employees. (NPC)

Additionally, the staff has increased, and Joelle now works alongside Miranda, who many might have seen around Starfall during the Academy Days. She’s responsible for potions and any Alchemic sales. 
Additionally: 
The Cafe’s Outdoor space is up for rent! With a base-price of 8k, you will get it decorated and catered to your wishes for ONE day/night! Host a wedding, a chess tournament, an auction or otherwise! Contact Maple Grace to arrange such an event. Pricing can be negotiated. Bring your own security though! After all, it's an out-door venue.

Do you need a job? Become a regular resource gatherer! The post on the board right outside the Cafe Gates describes what is currently wanted and is regularly updated. If that doesn't suit you? Perhaps farm-keeper! If neither of those apply, then the job as a guard will be rewarded in tandem with future events. Apply now! Contact Maple Grace ( or OOCLY Xiga#8207) for more information!


The future hopes and dreams
With the cafe's popularity growing and the business going well, there is talk about re-investing into more land. Allowing people to live within the area, away from city-walls, politics otherwise structured societies. Plans are in the making of a small apartment building north of the cafe across the waters. Many earth, nature and water magi involved as well as spirit-dancers to appease the lands before construction. A rough sketch made, and the future is looking bright!

Activities!
With the future in sight, Maple also looks to bring activity to the area, encouraging friendly behavior towards one other. In her youth, Manaball was popular, and thus rumors spread of a Manaball tournament being hosted by the Family Tree relatively soon! In addition, there are talks of an Art-Auction to be hosted, though more art pieces might need to be procured before this is finalized...

Area Guidelines and requests!
Finally, some general guidelines are hung up for the Cafe upon the board next to the gate. They read as follows: 
  • Be kind to the guests.
  • Respect that people have different origins, beliefs, and paths in life.
  • NO FIGHTING WITHIN THE CAFE GROUNDS I beg of you....!
  • Please, do not cut down the trees which mark the cafe bounds, or within its grounds. 
  • Any inquiries are to be taken to Maple Grace, and her word is to be respected as she's the owner of the grounds. 
  • Do enjoy the food and space~

Strewn about the once flourishing cafe-grounds are sticks, fallen trees, fairy lights, lanterns, and it's all just a general mess. The land is barren from its once lush green, and the horizon is clear. A horizon filled with destruction.
The elderly drakanite stands amidst it all. Tears streamed down her face.
"Why...?"


In the distance, a hooded figure was spotted, cutting more trees.. And the elder approached to stop them. 
A battle occurred..
Victorious, but still at loss over the dreadful loss of life and land, Maple announces their pain to the world.

Slowly they began cleaning the best she could... Shuffling the debris to the side.. Picking up the lamps.. putting out the fire-hazards.
