Born under another surname during the waning period of Achyon, Benedict Delisle fled Esshar following a stint of bad health and terrible loss with his two children. They visited various cities, moving constantly until certain news reached the inventor's ears. Now, Benedict brings both his offspring and technical genius to Starfall. Most of his share of the family fortune was blown during his time abroad. He never shows his eyes, not even to his kids. Often seen with either his piloting helmet, or a pair of sunglasses.

While Benedict has appeared to be in poor health to his kids, Catherine was lost to a mysterious illness much earlier in their travels. Her final year was spent with her family in Sheng, before she passed away and was buried under an unmarked hill. Her children remember an undying warmth that continue despite fading health. She was a master alchemist, and an assistant to Benedict's inventions.

- Two children are open, both playable at the age of 13 in 1860.
- Both are human, with light blond or red hair. Due to the circumstances of Benedict and Catherine's illness, you have paler-than-usual skin.
- Benedict is not a good father. Without Catherine, raising of both children has been difficult with constant moving around.
- You have both been put inside the cockpit of the Mech at least once, for testing purposes. Perhaps, you might pilot it one day!
- You've been raised with a specific brand of Achyonite philosophy, believing in personal achievement, cunning, and intellectual talent. You were not instructed to adhere to mainland Barsburg or pre-fall Achyonite ideals.
