Quote:The most dangerous creation of any society is the man who has nothing to lose.
Money makes the world go 'round. Everyone is self-interested, I can't blame 'em for not passing some our way. What ticks me off 'bout them is their preaches of selflessness.
Please. When was the last time they've done anything for Suds? I'd wager that they've completely forgotten about us. We've all learned to fend for ourselves, in our own ways.
I've met good people here. Smart, trustworthy, honest, but I know there ain't a way in Hel they're gettin' outta here. It's a damn deep pit to crawl out of, hope's a commodity 'round these parts.
Some are stuck in the cycle of addiction. Content with wasting their days away as long as they're juiced up.
Others ain't want to leave what little they've got left. It's every man for 'emself, but ya ain't ever stealing from family.
Me? I ain't got any left. I thought I was done for too. Lost myself in what I did, but I guess it ain't over 'til the fat lady sings. I put it on the line, wagered my very life. I put all my faith in Lady Luck, for better or for worse. She's been the only mother I've ever had, and damn has she treated me well.
I've broken these shackles and taken the reigns of my life.
World, you cruel bastard. I'm coming for you.
But first, Mother. How do I look?
