Bedridden, struck down. To be the patient, instead of the doctor.
 
A hole in my chest, glass in my lungs.
A tube through my throat to keep the air flowing, breath in my stead.
 
I must be looking downright pathetic.
 
A defeat well earned, for the man who started to think he was invincible.
Yet still, I am nothing but a human. Mortal.
 
I can still hear it. The faint sound of the machine ringing, beeping...
 The sound that proves I'm alive.
