Iskander would quickly jot something down in his diary, a few things to tell his passed parents.
"Mom, Dad. I finally bought my own farm. Its in the Sewers but....I like it, I miss you guys so much. I am learning Holy magic from Sir Howl and Mister and Miss Alder. I pray to Kraus every night, just like you taught. One day I will be High Keeper and I will protect all of those precious smiles...if only I could have yours.."
Tears stain the fresh ink. The boy closes his diary and goes to bed.
