Learning to be an Artificer is as easy as you are determined! All you need is a steady supply of ores (see the Imperial Artificery Investment Scheme!), a copy of the most recent edition of Theodore Ridderman’s Imperial Guide to Artificery, and a workplace safety compliant artificing setup, comprising an Artificing anvil and you’re good to go!

What you do between beginning and requesting Mastery accreditation is up to you -so long as your activities are Workplace Safety compliant and adhere to Imperial Law- but you will, of course, reach a point in which you believe you are approaching Mastery and wish to seek accreditation! Luckily for you, this is an easy process!

What is the Criteria of Artificing Mastery Accreditation?

The Criteria for accreditation of Artificing Mastery is simple; anyone worth gaining accreditation should be able to do it! To become an accredited Master Artificer you are required to be able to do the two following things:

-Successfully write and power an Exalted-level rune scheme, glyph or sequence for application on clothing, armour or weaponry.
-Produce three units of steel at the level of purity mandated by the Imperial Board of Accreditation.

This two tasks are all it takes to earn your accreditation and be officially recognised as a Mastery Artificer! Of course, these tasks must be achieved in front of a Tribunal of Board of Accreditation Officials; several may be found in any city in the Empire, so there should always be a Tribunal accessible!
