The hunt for a Lion - Findind Leonaus II: The Journey to the Eternal Night

Ryujin lives in the Spirit World. Quetzalcoatl slumbers in Gehenna. Shenlong dwells in a temple high in the sky. Huatl resides in the planets core. Jormungand chills deep in the oceans. Asena and Saekanis roam around place to place. Ixchel prowls the jungles of Gehenna. And Jiuweihu hangs out in Jianghu.

But where in the world is Leonaus?

Even after scouring history book after history book, no mention of pilgrimages or sightings of the divine beast can be found. The only thing remotely close Paca can find are mentions of some kind of a Grimoire from the past. Deciding on fulfilling one of his lifelong dreams of meeting a Divine Spirit, Paca begins to get all the information and training needed to undertake such a dangerous task.

Part 1: The Library (Complete)

Stage 2: Journey to Eternal Night

What's located there is a mystery.

But throughout history, many cosmic magic focused groups have made their way there after they amassed a fair bit of power.

A path through the mountains has slowly formed over time thanks to these groups.

Some would try to prevent others from ever getting close to the Eternal Night feeling it wasn't knowledge meant for mortals.

Some would try to keep the knowledge that could be found there for themselves.

Thanks to groups like this, a vast dungeon has formed in a cave system leading to the valley.

With news of grand expeditions for Osrona as a whole being allowed to be planned and funded by the nation, Paca puts intense efforts on finding out all he can about the next leg of his journey.

Clues are finally found after tiny hints here and there keep mentioning groups dedicated to the Cosmic Magic arts constantly journey to a certain mountain range throughout history.

Paca seeks approval with the Archmagi to have the nation's best magi help him and the Blue Lions on their journey to meet the Divine Beast.

However,

Paca and Osrona aren't the only ones who are making their way to the Eternal Night.

A small group of Felinae Cosmic Magi are taking the journey as well.

The group is formidable, having already acquired a few volumes of the Leonaus Grimoire.

To ensure the power of Leonaus can't be abused, the Felinae power up the traps and guardians of the dungeon as they make their way through.

A clash between the two groups is almost inevitable as the Felinae group will do all they can to make sure Osrona can't progress.

Priority I want is Blue Lion members of sufficient RPL to get priority. And then higher / stronger members of Osrona as well that use Cosmic / Holy magic.

Main Goal/s:

Secure a path to the Eternal Night described in Event 1.

Rewards for this, I'd like a volume of the Leonaus Grimoire for Osrona's vault. Thematic CoD difficulty Cosmic, Holy and Light based dev materials as well to find.

Intense (50k)

One of the two, depends on the kind of interest people have with the event.

I was thinking we could do Standard (Secure a path to the Eternal Night) > Intense (event in the Eternal Night for information) > Intense (Secure a path to Leonaus) > Grand (Journey to meet Leonaus)

But this is a very big goal, journeying to meet a Divine Spirit, so intensity of the events could go up if others are willing to slog through this as the Osrona Faction event. Let me know in the Google Doc below!!!
