The Iyali Tribe - Random - 11-04-2020 ![]() "We are nothing if not together."
![]() Lavish looking messengers quickly spread out and advertise ornate transcripts of a new speech given by Yaluk Ixtan.
"Hello, people of Moxtli. I'm addressing you today as a respectable tribesman of this land. Just like you, I was born, raised and educated here. Most of the skills that have elevated me to my position today... were learned right here, on our shared native soil.
I feel just like many of you do. Uncertain and lost.
This is why I chose to speak to you today. Not as The President of the UFC. Not as the Head of the Ixtan Company- no. I speak to you as Yaluk Ixtan, the eldest brother in my family. When we left Moxtli four years ago, we watched our beautiful people strive toward greatness- the tribal capitals bustling with Magi perfecting their arts, the children hopeful of their futures and the elders reciting tales of their glory. Now? While nothing has changed fundamentally in Moxtli, I happen to think that there is the underlying problem of stagnancy that thwarts our true potential. The livelihood I once felt breathing in our fresh air is no longer there.
Our true potential? Even I'm not sure what it is. I do know, though, that it is greater than anything Esshar has ever seen.
That is why with my funds, my resources and my manpower... I am founding the Iyali Tribe, an extension of Moxtli. I expect every Chieftain and Shaman to back me. As is to be expected, I'm going to fight for a position on the council.
I'm not doing this for profit. Neither am I doing this to acquire influence or imaginary power.
I'm doing this to cultivate the potential of Moxtli.
We are more than brutes. We are more than savages. We are capable of advanced technology. We are capable of change in our culture. We are capable of... peace. I don't want to burden you with words anymore, so please indulge in the plans that the Iyali Tribe wishes to bring to fruition."
Quote: "With that being said... this isn't exactly an easy project. We will not be able to do this alone. Therefore, the Iyali Tribe will constantly be looking for teachers, scientists, scholars and warriors. We are rich, so money is never an issue. Come speak to me for more details. Thank you for your time... and spirits protect."
