A Dryad's Mark - Wooloo - 10-27-2020 ![]() "You're not welcome here any longer." Word quickly spreads of the Celestial Ruins having a new occupant, and a rather dangerous and unpredictable one at that. The Dryad Carnivore has taken up residency, and she has made a very simple declaration that those whom trespass upon her land shall be punished. It seems that she intends to use the ruins as a home for a future generation of Dryads. Carnivorous plants and dangerous, thorned vines all sprawl throughout the ruins, making a dangerous area even more treacherous to explore. To add onto it all, approaching the ruins, one might feel a powerful spiritual presence of pure, unbridled anger. The land itself has been bound to Carnivore, and she to it, and both of them - To the Moxtli Spirit Eznite's pure, concentrated hatred. The serene and peaceful aura of the region has been swallowed up by a picture of violence. But... The Dryad does not possess an army. Nor did her rebinding come without consequence. Other rumors spread of her defenses only having the appearance of a bite, and that she herself, has become frail and ill. (-100 vit, remainder of year debuff, unhealable.) Perhaps she can be dealt with before the plant truly takes root? (Notes: This is not a formal land claim, as Carnivore does not possess a faction. Carnivore has performed a rebinding ritual to prevent her death after Moxtli's exile. Carnivore has taken a heavy temporary nerf and is recovering from the process. This is basically just dev fluff!) |
