In common with snakes, the drakelings typically shed their scales often, they scales prized for decoration in traditional drakanite crafts, from necklaces, embroidered into shirts and clothes, replacements for beads on clothes, and other uses. Some in the southern lands use the scales to sell off as fake dragon youngling scales, or grind them up into a powder in ointments to give the vigor of dragon kind.
