Stardust Into Galaxy - Milly - 06-21-2020 Hello. I heard through the grapevine that, in order to get Galaxy Explosion, you must first get Stardust Explosion - which is FINE! However... 1) Having Stardust Explosion counts against you as a hidden you already have, which making getting that second hidden (Galaxy) that much harder than it would be ordinarily. 2) Both have a cost of 15 RPP. I think this should be changed to the following: 1) If you're actively deving towards Galaxy Explosion, having Stardust should not count against you in terms of making it "harder" to get, per say. Let me know if this makes sense. 2) Make Stardust 5 RPP, and Galaxy 10; OR alternatively, Stardust 10 and Galaxy 5, so either way they total to 15. If you go straight for Galaxy it should be the full 15, most likely. thank you. RE: Stardust Into Galaxy - Moloch - 06-21-2020 Make Stardust like Lion Fire Barrage, a 5RPP with a pre req. Keep Galaxy at 15? these abilities are... very powerful? RE: Stardust Into Galaxy - Dreamspeaker - 06-21-2020 I'm not sure how I even feel about this. Making two applications (bearing in mind that second application is much harder than first, and any third is even harder) feels like too much for this. At the same time, if you don't have to get Stardust Explosion to get Galaxy Explosion, there is literally no reason to ever get Stardust Explosion in the first place. It has the "Intermediate" slapped onto it, but tiers are not taken in account anyway - you can have two Intermediates, two Exalted, whatever, it's still going to get much harder to get any third hidden after that. In other words, tiers hardly seem to matter. Why do these two abilities exist, anyway? Just make one and rework it or something. RE: Stardust Into Galaxy - Prestige - 06-21-2020 Nobody considers Galaxy as two abilities because you applied for Stardust before. It's never worked that way. You only have one of these abilities-- so you only have one hidden essentially. That's it. I don't think there's a problem with hiddens that grow in strength and have different versions (in fact, I'd love seeing more of them if anything) but that probably belongs in a different thread. The cost should be 15 for Stardust and 5 for Galaxy, since the latter is an upgrade. I don't think atm the costs for the two hiddens together is 30 since... That sounds very dumb and I doubt it's the case. Also, I don't know if this needs to be said but: Galaxy is an exalted hidden and one of the strongest spells ingame, something around top 3. Yes, it's judged much more harshly than Stardust but it has nothing to do with 'stardust counting against you'. RE: Stardust Into Galaxy - Milly - 06-21-2020 Ah, that sounds way better - thank you for you letting us all know. When I heard they both apparently cost 15 I figured it couldn't possibly be right, so I'm glad that got cleared up. |
