RE: The Uprooting of, Rama. - Sanguine415 - 07-21-2025 ![]() Quote:"All that glitters is gold. And all that's gold is mine." The dwarf lord of the far north would hear in earnest the assembly and its anticipation. His formal response takes time, as he actually needs to send out cartographers to discover what the hel a Rama was, and if it was actually in his territory in the first place. Yet, upon determining the reality of these claims, his answer would follow, the words of the Lord Regent of Stonehaven issuing outwards to be heard in earnest. Quote:"If it is in my lands, ye' seek my permission first. For one hundred thousand coins, this tree of great value to ye' can be yours fully; the Dwarves and their mastery'o geomancy shall assist in its removal from the north." RE: The Uprooting of, Rama. - Kal - 07-21-2025 A short reply would be given. (I'm at work) Quote: RE: The Uprooting of, Rama. - Sanguine415 - 07-21-2025 Quote:"One hundred thousand coin from either of ye'. Don't care which." The response is straight and to the point, it was clear the Dwarf Lord had no intention of changing his mind in this regard, nor respecting ancient claims on land he held in the present. RE: The Uprooting of, Rama. - InThePooPoo - 07-21-2025 A swift response with no frills is made by the commander of Stonehaven’s army, confirming their intentions: Any non-citizen of Stonehaven that attempts to commune with or uproot the tree will be executed by lowering into the magma pits The crownbearer does not respect claims made prior to the existence of the kingdom nor after. (A mobilization of troops has occurred to enforce this decree. Any event on this land will surely turn into a raid of sorts.) RE: The Uprooting of, Rama. - Sanguine415 - 07-23-2025 ![]() After a period of internal discussion within the high council of Crownforge, an official ruling was made on the tree of dreams. Quote:"The tree is now ours, and is no longer for sale. My Magistrate Neve has use of its mysterious potential, and frankly I quite like having shiny things in my territory. Any attempts to remove it will be considered an act of grand larceny and be met with removal of the thieves' hands." It appears negotiation was off the table for any means of transfer, though perhaps not the future of the tree itself. |
