Over the course of the past year,

there have been attempts made by a strange man to rope the leaders of nations into a worldwide sporting event.



The MANABALL MAJOR LEAGUE!


As of today, the promised postings have been sent to all nations that have agreed to participate.

All of these nations are beseeched to respond to the posting with a letter,

following this format:

All nations with official borders and international recognition that have NOT been listed

are urged to send a letter expressing interest in attendance to 

Yosuke Fujimoto or Rosaline Godwin!

The teams representing nations listed above may participate 

in the tournament free of charge as EARLY ADOPTERS.

Participation without specialized team colors and uniform for independent teams of 3

will be permitted upon receipt of a nominal fee - 1500 coins. 

If you are not a member of the Official International Team selection and you desire a custom team uniform regardless,

the fee for entry becomes 7500 coins. 

(This option includes a helmet and safety gear!)

The only restriction on independent team participation is that there may be no undead in your team.

Magical Beasts are unable to participate due to there being no regulation Manaball Gloves that fit them.

Once all attendees are confirmed (Deadline: April 22) there will be matchups hand-selected

to ensure maximum entertainment and sports storytelling!

Each matchup will occur at a time negotiated by each team,

with a representative from the Major League present for refereeing.

The tournament will be Single Elimination bracket for the sake of simplicity.

During the course of the tournament, regardless of personal animus for the people

who may or may not be on the opposing side,

while a referee is present, no violence is permitted under penalty of complete disqualification

and permanent ban from all future Manaball Major League events.

MANABALL RULES

During the first phase of the tournament,

all teams matched with one another will be playing REGULATION MANABALL.

-Three Versus Three in a Best of Three match.

-Participants don restrictive manaball gauntlets to reduce their own durability and magical capacity.

-The only permitted offensive action is the launching of specialized Mana Ripples

-Participants may not use any supplementary magic to enhance movement 

or durability.

-A round ends when all participants on one side are eliminated.

After the regulation phase is over, and a winning team is found for the tournament,

PHASE TWO begins.

It will also be single elimination, similar to the rest of the tournament.

This version of Manaball is the brain child of Superstar Yosuke Fujimoto,

called SUPER STAR STREET MANABALL!

-One on One HIGH STAKES Manaball in a Best of Five

-Participants don manaball gauntlets once more, and their only 

offensive option is to launch them.

-Participants MAY use supplementary movement and invulnerability actions that are not capable of

harming their opponent.

PERMITTED SUPPORT ACTIONS PENDING REVIEW:

-Round ends when one of the two opponents falls.

Confusion spreads from the fortress-castle of Aetius as practice gloves arrive en masse.

The deadline for registration has been extended to the 29th, 
due to delays in registration caused by war, independent mismanagement of team assembly and other factors.

If yet still not enough teams are assembled,
either the Manaball Association itself will fill the empty slots,
or the team portion of the competition will be cut entirely.
