An overwhelming loss, the deaths of two notable magi occurring in the battle, Tiche Alline and Katsuya Akatsuki, as well as countless Leafblades and Suladari meeting their demise on that wicked battlefield.

In the months following, the nascent Lord-Commander had become much of a recluse, the only thing coming from the esteemed isle of Nereides being a sparsely worded missive.
